Politics / Re: Tinubu Backs NDLEA To End Drug Abuse, Trafficking by blackjack21(m): 11:08am On Jun 27 |
dfrost: And the problem can’t be the solution. Most of the people charged with enforcing the drug war are drug addicts themselves, think about that. For drug war to end a radical social and economic change, the whole foundation of society as we know must be rethought, and radical change implemented all over the world. Then, MAYBE, drug abuse might end. But drugs would still be around of course. 1 Like |

dfrost: It simply an impossible task for NDLEA. When you see a junkie, think about the underlying reason why the embrace drugs. Jailing the addicts will not make it stop the addiction. Jailing the drug pushers would only increase the demands, and where there’s demand, supply must follow. USA is a case study 1 Like |

Reminderz: Strategic thinking can be applied to a probabilistic outcomes. If you play chess and understand probability, you will have the upper hand again ludo players who don’t play chess even if you have never played ludo before. And most people who play Ludo are simply math-lazy, they don’t understand probability. |

okoroemeka: I understand you, but the right word you should be using is REMODELED. The KING, QUEEN, KNIGHT, BISHOP etc, is just a European interpretation of the moving pieces. Meanwhile chess has been played for thousands of years before it came to Europe through Persia. Your highlighted comments is a very wrong way to think about chess or life: firstly, stop saying that pieces are killed, but say they are captured; because in real life a lot of things can happen to your piece to make them unable to compete in your efforts, admittedly, being killed is on of these things but there are so many more possibilities. So pieces are captured is better. Secondly kings do get captured (or killed), and yes by pawns, both in real life and on the board. 1. King Richard of England was killed by a French soldier whose job was actually to cook food for the fighting men ( real life). And his soldiers of different ranks retreated back to England. And guess what, his queen was also alive too. 2. Below is a example of pawns checkmating a king. I have won countless similar endgame myself. Don’t use chess to uplift your manly ego, or you will suffer ignoble disappointments. By the way, do you play online? What is your fide rating?

okoroemeka: Do not genderize the beautiful game of chess by your simplistic outlook on life. All the pieces on the board are not actuality, they are a representation of abstract ideals. Bringing chess into real life scenarios is incredibly more difficult than playing it on a board, but that is what everyone hope to do; learn on the board and play it in real life. The moment you start thinking that you’re the king, your queen is your wife… checkmate! Life is more mysterious than chess. |

notmyrealmonika: Chess is not the invention of western world, and does not belong to them. Your inference about it being a western thing and those who see it boundless cognitive superiority are mentally enslaved makes you seem really, really dull. |

rossoneri: It has happened to me once or twice where I just look at the chart and believe me for a few moments I actually saw the METRIX. There was a time when it was just like had some symbiosis with XAUUSD, can’t explain it, man. I still have more to learn. I haven’t got to the price action chapter, but looking at the index I often saw it, and I wonder what that might teach me. I hope to reach that point one day; where I am Neo in the metrix, kicking ass and taking pips. AMEN Thank you. 3 Likes |

Elliotwaveforec: The theory posit that price moves in waves, right? And the wave are like triangles within triangle, identical albeit not equal base on time frame. So in a one minute time a stick is =60seconds, and for the sake of my example, a 120stick might= a wave in one minute frame, if you switched that to 1hour it would just be a two stick(a tiny blind likely). But I get your point. And I think what you’re saying is that a lower timeframe might present many waves and my opportunities to trade them but, that would also mean nearly as many false movements? And I totally agree. Thank you. |
