Nigeria is not under any curse, the Igbos are under curse. Tell me why it is only Igbos are always in the news for drug trafficking of all the tribes in Nigeria!

How many times have you heard people from other tribes in Nigeria are arrested for drugs or romance scam? It is just the Igbos, if 200 Nigeria are arrested for drugs or human trafficking crime outside the country, I can bet you, Igbos would be 198 out of the 200.

This has to do with culture of you must make it regardless of who gets hurt. Very few parents ( less than 1%) ask their young children who they get their wealth. Most of them don't care as long as the money is available to build a big house in the village just to impress their neighbours.

Another thing that is reason for this is lack of respect for elders and family name. Even the few parents who ask questions about I'll gotten overnight wealth are disregarded and disrespected. A lot of Igbos don't care about their family names, they will just do whatever they want and never mind if the family is dragged in the mud or not.

I'm not a Yoruba, but I was born and brought up in a Yoruba state, no tribe is perfect, the Yoruba have Thier problems too but definitely not disrespect for their family names. They protect it with respect because they know if you tarnish it, you are all alone in the shit alone. They regard their parents and elderly ones.

The Igbos need to do better. Any time I see drugs related crime on NL or Instagram, I don't bother to check the name because I know the offender must be an igbo, and 99.7%of the time , I have been proven right.

Well, it's a good thing the Africans are now knowing Nigerian by tribes. I was in Kenya last year November for a vacation, I wanted to explore the safari so I needed a tour guides. I eventually got 2 guys , on our way we started talking and one of the guys said you must be a Nigerian from your accent. I told him he was right , I was shocked when he asked me what tribe are you are?

I was like , what tribe do you know in Nigeria? He told me that Nigeria has three major tribes, namely Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. I was forced to ask him if he has ever been to Nigeria before and he said no but he has seen a lot of them in Kenya. He told me all he knows about the three major tribes and I couldn't not agree with him less. What he told me about the Igbos is not a good thing to write home about.

Those people ( Igbos ) need to do better.

If I'm getting what this dude is saying clearly. Is that atiku's government would be tribalistic and nepotistic. This I beg to disagree on as atiku is the least tribalistic of all the candidates contesting the position at the moment.


His records are there and the evidence clear. They are a lot of things you can accuse atiku of but being a bigot is not one of them.


Secondly, atiku's followers are not toxic and as insultive as the other two major contenders. ( you know who)


Sometimes I feel atiku's supporters are too calm as they hardly react negatively with threats and violence especially the way other supporters do. Atiku's criticism often are also objective and on point!

ATIKU who posted on X some years ago to conderm the killing of that young lady in the north after she was accused of blasphemy against Muhammad, few minutes after the his Fulani supporters called him, he deleted the post and backtracked.

Have you ever seen any where ATIKU conderm the killings in the north by the fulanis? Never!!! He will always keep quiet and look away.

We don't have a true leader in this country, that's the honest truth. The three major candidates are bigots. Tinubu, Obi and ATIKU are tribal bigots, none is exampted.

Let me correct the writer who said

Rather than defect or head to court, Ambode congratulated Sanwo-Olu and pledged loyalty to the party. Desmond Elliot should take a cue from that example.

Big fat lie. Ambode that called Sanwoolu mad and did worse than Elliot. Abeg talk another thing. They have arranged themsleves. Even Pedro is now an Ambassador but you see that WOMAN, Bucknor. She no gree for Bola. Again, know your worth and what you are fighting for.

Ambode gave a live broadcast after the defeat but don't forget that he didn't attend the handover ceremony, instead, he handed one day before May 29 at a private event. Also Ambode lost through the primaries, at least they allowed that to happen. Did you hear what Desmond said? "Even if I will lose, let me lose gallantly". He complained about intimidation of delegates so there is a difference in losing through indirect babasopecracy and direct vote. At least they pretended to vote for Ambode's own.
