Those he fought in PDP, he did not start fighting them yesterday neither was it even last year nor three years ago. They are at loggerheads since he won his second term. Google it to heal yourself. The only person he has issue of leadership with is his deputy, Shuaibu. He only didn't manage the situation between him and his deputy well. He should not have allowed the situation to degenerated to the extent of losing Shuaibu to APC. Obaseki lacks conflict resolution management. Truly Obaseki fight that the next governor should come from Edo Central was justifiable and it was the same issue raised by APC but Shuaibu was vehemently opposing that, the same way Oshiomhole was against APC doing same but he was pacified to submission while Obaseki did not apply that.

Just I had said, you cannot call or say Obaseki was fighting to be a godfather when he was doing the normal thing all outgoing governors does. It's until he shows the sign that he want to be controlling him and dictating who will be this or that that you can say he is a godfather. You need to sieve the difference.

Please what has Obaseki done? That he should not partake in choosing his successor. How would a leader not partake in choosing who succeeds him or her?
