Simply put, GRV lacks the experience to manage the Lagos economy.

On tribal matters.. ..Governor Adelekes mum was Igbo. He was born in Enugu and his wife, Ngozi is Igbo. He's the current Governor of Osun State. Their family has been committed to the people of Osun over the years. Therefore, tribe never played a role in the election.
So why are you urchins playing tribal cards instead of debating issues.

PoliticsRe: Igbos In Lagos Are Not The Only Foreigners In Yoruba Land - Respect The Host by BombAttack(f): 6:54pm On Mar 07, 2023
akingangan:
Igbos in Lagos are not the only foreigners in Yoruba land but seem to be the only ones that want to overrun the city of the hospitable Omoluwabi people.

Lagos is a Yoruba land for all of recorded history before it became a major hub for trade and commerce during the colonial period.
Today, Lagos is a diverse city with a blend of various ethnic groups, cultures, and languages. The Yoruba language and culture still have a significant influence on the city's identity and way of life.

If not for colonialism,
Yoruba land originally stretches from parts of Delta State to Togo, Benin, and parts of Ghana where you have the Ewe people.

Trying to overrun another people's land will make people angry and can lead to social unrest.

Below is a Map of Yoruba Land for educational purposes
You sold your lands to Igbos and turn around to cry foul like a headless chicken.
Igbos have bought 70% of lands in Lagos. The remaing 30% will be bought within 10 years.

So keep crying huh

Can any one make me understand ? They sleep , salivate over Lagos which has been on steady progress since 99 while their home states are in tartars . Is that they wish Lagos to become like Abia govern by the likes of ipakzu or orji . They are encouraging MUMU Yoruba youths to hand over the 4 th largest economy to a rookie
Igbos have bought 70% land in Lagos, the remaining 30% will be bought within the next 10 years.

When hunger reset Yoruba's brain, they will be running around looking for Igbos to buy the remaining lands in Lagos cool

Lagos is London to South Easterners. Go and read Chike and the River by Chinua Achebe.
And Igbos will continue to buy all available lands in Lagos until they buy your Oba Palace.

Lagos is dirty and smelling, stop fighting over it. I wonder why people will kill themselves over a city that is full of choas, maybe that os the best the owners of the land have to offer.

Just a side note, Even if labour party wins on Saturday, it will take many years to change the mentality of the people living inside lagos.

Imagine living in a city where you breath smell and pollution from open gutters and canals every day

Imagine living in a city filled with people selling sachet water all over the place and even littering the whole place with sachet and bottle water.

Imagine living in a place where millions was spent on a bus station only for that place to become a littering ground for sellers, beggers and thugs.

Imagine living in a city where infrastructures like bus stops have been destroyed because somebody have stolen the irons supporting the bus stop.

What is there to fight for in a city where majority of inhabitants are literally poor.
Lagos is No man's land. Accept it or jump into your Oba Lagoon.

Stop disturbing the internet with Lagos. Lagos is not the only state in Nigeria.
