Greetings to u too,for me I never pack bag o but av gotten my stuffs apart from the bag to put dem in. And for porting,I seriously pray to offload by 37weeks even if it's going to b 31 July. ..I am getting really impatient to have my love. .

To our working mama, lets start planning our maternity leave and handing over in our place of work.
Moreso, let us not deny our DH of their right ooo because of heaviness. Try different methods and stick to the one that works.....

Thanks cappo for checking on us...doing great,but haven't shopped at all...planning to do a day shopping soon..I guess my small belly is still deceiving me.

Please does any one know the name of injection given to new born before breastfeeding when the mother has hepatitis B? How much does it cost and where can I get it.

Good to know you are fine mama.
Sanitary pad in the list is not only for postnatal delivery, they also use it in cleaning the baby and some nurses even use it to clean your womb i think... They needed the pure cotton pads which are always the ones we know.

You can switch to the usual sanitary pad after getting home and you know your flow has reduced drastically.

for the wipes, I have used anyone I see like nycil, and the likes for my kids. Non of them is irritated with any so, i just buy anyone.

To the pushing mamas, we pray the remainining period will be stressfree.

#TeamAugust, How are we copping with the growing belle? A few of us most have entered 3rd trimester while the others are approaching it.
So let's make good use of this time to do most, if not all of our shopping. I pray God will make provision financially and physically.He will continue to make the journey easy for us.

I believe our ANC Classes are interactive. I hope we are enjoying meeting with other belleful mamas over there. By now, many of us most have taken our 2nd TT (and 2nd IPV). Please, let us create a reminder for the 3rd TT (6 months after 2nd TT) because most of us will be busy with our baby by then and its possible we will not remember (As most mama doesn't go for it). I pray God will continue to strengthen us and help us all to carry to term with easy delivery.

How are we feeling about our lo jumping up and down, building mansion in our womb? How are we copying with our showing bumps? Most of us will find it difficult to do most of our daily routine that requires bending.Lets take it easy and seek for help where needed. May we not labour in vain. We shall reap the good fruit of our labour.

Can normal sanitary pad be used after delivery or must it be dt one packed in blue nylon,cos on d list given at d hospital dey just wrote sanitary pad?
I also need advice on baby soap to buy.
What wipes is best and won't irritate the baby skin.

Team August, how are we doing? I presume all of us is now in the rocking stage(2nd trimester). Please, lets all enjoy this period as it is period of enjoyment.

Hope we are rocking the new bumpy look and managing the heavy like weight!!!!!!!

No chase oga ooo. Remember, pregnancy is in already and another one isn't adding to it after its in. Let us revive the ministry. All the shot that was missed in the first trimester must be replayed.

If you aint comfortable with the missionary style, there are a lot of other methods like

Side-by-side, from behind

Lie with your partner facing your back and entering from behind. Keep some pillows handy for extra support as your pregnancy progresses.

Penetration tends to be shallower in this position. That's a good thing, because deep thrusts can become uncomfortable in later months.

From behind, doggy style

Support yourself on your knees and elbows as your partner kneels and enters from behind. A pillow can provide needed tummy support.

Side-by-side, at an angle

You each lie on your side, your bodies creating a V-shape. Wedge a pillow under your back for support as you face your partner, and rest both legs over his hip. This position allows him to keep most of his weight off your belly

On a chair

Straddle your partner as he sits on a sturdy chair. Position the chair near a wall or another piece of furniture to lean on when you're ready to get up from this position.

Edge of the bed

Shift your bottom to the side or foot of the bed and lie back with your knees bent. (After the first trimester, wedge a pillow under one side so you're not completely flat on your back.)

Depending on the height of the bed, your partner can kneel or stand.

Spooning



Spooning isn't just sweet for getting cuddly. It can also be a super-comfortable way to have pregnant sex, because there's no pressure on your abdomen and you have lots of movement. Plus, your partner can position themselves behind you at different angles to allow for penetration.

Hello capo. ..tanx for the roll call and all the sex styles.
Though me am not feeling heavy yet,in fact am hardly showing,the only reassurance of pregnancy I av is the movements I feel every now and then..I really need to ask my doctor if it's normal for me not to show at all at 20weeks..

Don't really bother with newborn size. Buy 3-6mths, 6-9mths, 9-12mths, 12-18mths etc.

You will just do mix and match; onesies, sleepsuits, tops, trousers etc

I just found this forum today and am glad there is a platform to relate wt people you are in the same shoes wit...please I will like to be enlightened on an issue...when you say you are 12weeks gone in pregnancy I. E 3months,is it counted from the first day of the last period or according to wen d egg got fertilised. ..cos I took a scan and was told am 6weeks and some days gone whereas counting from the the first day of last period ,I was surposed to be 8weeks...thanks
