The 2018 BET Awards took place last night at the Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater with Kendrick Lamar taking home to most prizes, for best male hip hop artist and album of the year for “DAMN.”
Beyonce was crowned the best female R&B/pop artist, and Cardi B won for best female hip hop artist. Migos snagged the best group award, while SZA took home best new artist.
Jamie Foxx hosted the show. Anita Baker received the lifetime achievement award.

Man of the moment, Ahmed Musa has said that the Super Eagles are capable of beating Lionel Messi-inspired Argentina and secure qualification to the last-16 of the 2018 FIFA World Cup holding in Russia.
Musa scored two goals to down Iceland in their second group D game on Friday and believes he can do same on June 26 when Nigeria trade tackles with Argentina in the make or mar encounter.
He scored two goals in Nigeria’s 3-2 loss to Argentina four years ago at the World Cup in Brazil and another two goals in Leicester’s pre-season 4-2 win over a Messi-inspired Barcelona team.
“I think scoring against Argentina isn’t that difficult for me.
“We know the importance of the game. It’s do-or-die,” Musa said after his Man-of-the-match performance against Iceland.
A victory for the Super Eagles over Argentina will ensure automatic qualification, while a draw will leave the Super Eagles depending on the result of the Iceland vs Croatia game to be played simultaneously.
But Musa believes he can help the Super Eagles beat Argentina.
He said, “I can remember four years ago when Messi played in Brazil I scored two goals.
“And when I transferred to Leicester I played against Barcelona and he’s on the pitch and I scored another two goals.
“So I think next game anything can happen — possibly I’m going to score another two goals.”

Serving Corps Member Who Drowned in Rivers State Buried……
A “Batch A” 2018 NYSC Member, Samuel Rufus serving in Ataba, Andoni LGA of Rivers state allegedly drowned when he went swimming with his friends.
According to reports, on the 12th of June, Samuel and his friends were conveyed to the swimming location by a boat, but while returning, the boat capsized and he drowned.
His corps was found three days later and was buried yesterday. May his soul rest in peace.

Beautiful Nkiruka Jane Nnaji , who graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, in 2016 was allegedly attacked with acid by an unknown man.
According to Jane, after her graduation she was managing a small cosmetic shop in Port-Harcourt before her NYSC will commence.
On that faithful day, she was coming back from the shop and a man was calling on her with the name ” Chi Chi “, Jane said she didn’t answer because that was not her name, she felt the man was just trying to draw her attention, so she ignored him.
The man continued calling her and moved towards her direction, she quickly hid her phone, thinking he wanted to rob her and immediately the man tapped her and poured a liquid substance on her.
She cried for help as people rushed in to rescue her, they poured water on her and conveyed her to the hospital.
Jane has reportedly undergone 5 surgeries worth over a million so far, she lost her ears during the process, she still has a contracture on the neck, and then the left hand,her hair has been damaged as you can see in the image.
Jane feels it was a case of mistaken identity because, the name the man was calling ” Chi Chi ” doesn’t sound like her name in anyways, furthermore, she said she hasn’t quarreled with anyone lately so she has no suspect.
Jane is grateful to God for keeping her alive despite the fact that the doctor only assured her of 30% survival.

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has told president Muhammadu Buhari that his decision on Jerusalem is sectional, unilateral and imposing.
The association said it was praying that the Federal Government of Nigeria relocates its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
CAN President Revd Samson Ayokunle disclosed this in a goodwill message signed by his Special Assistant, Media and Communications, Adebayo Oladeji.
The message was presented during the celebration of the 70 years of the existence of the Israeli Government by the Christians United for Israel in Abuja.
The prayer by CAN followed the recent relocation of the Embassy of the United States of America from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Ayokunle said, “The Christian Association of Nigeria congratulates the Israeli Government on the relocation of the capital to Jerusalem and on
the occasion of 70 years anniversary of their
country.
“Unarguably, the relocation is the special anniversary present from the Patriarchs. We appreciate the leadership role of the United States in the landmark historic event.
“We are happy that countries such as the United States of America, Guatemala, Honduras, Romania and Paraguay, have relocated their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
“The declaration made by President Donald Trump on December 6, 2017, was a fulfillment of the Biblical prophecy and it is our prayers that other countries, including Nigeria, will relocate their embassies from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
“The Christian Association of Nigeria is placing on record that the negative vote of Nigeria over Jerusalem is not the consensus of the citizens of this country and, therefore, it should not be
regarded as representing the choice of Nigeria.
“It is a sectional and unilateral imposition of
the President Buhari administration.”
