Man stabs a king in Ekiti State, Oba Gbadebo Ogunsakin, to death.Oba Gbadebo Ogunsakin, the Olowa of Odo Oro Ekiti state has been stabbed to death in his palace.

The incident, according to reports occurred early on Monday August 20th when a man suspected to be mentally deranged entered the palace and stabbed the monarch multiple times.

News of the monarch's death led to a violent protest in the town as youths trooped out to show their grievances over the gory incident. The man was said to have escaped into the bush after committing the crime and now being trailed by youths and security agencies.

Man hacks his two younger brothers to death with cutlass and dagger.One Aniemeka Nwani hacked his two younger brothers, Kingsley and Nwayo, to death in Asaba, Delta State on Sunday night.

The Nwani family of Issele-Uku in Aniocha Local Government Area of the state is an independent marketer of petroleum products in Asaba.

The News Agency of Nigeria gathered from a family source on Monday that Aniemeka killed his brothers one of whom was an undergraduate, with a machete.

The source who pleaded anonymity did not give details but said the three brothers and their widowed mother had a family meeting before the tragic incident.

He said the suspect, said to be in his 30s, had been a patient at a psychiatric home in Uselu, Edo.

Their widowed mother, a Permanent Secretary in the Delta civil service, had returned from Canada where the daughter lives two weeks ago, after a medical check-up.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Delta, (DSP) Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed the incident and described it as tragic.

According g to friend of the deceased, Aniemeka killed his brothers after a heated argument:

"They were stabbed by their eldest brother after a heated argument between Nnamaka and Nwayor. It was in the process that Kingsley was called. When he arrived, Nnamaka (Aniemeka) felt they came to gang up against him. He immediately took a cutlass and cut Kingsley on the hand and neck. Before using a dagger to stab Nwayor on his stomach.

One half of Psquare, Paul Okoye who is currently on tour in Europe just shared a story of how a cancelled flight almost led him to disappoint his fans in Copenhagen, Denmark.



According to him, 'We almost disappointed the fans in Copenhagen last night, but God made it possible. There was only one flight from Germany to Copenhagen and the flight was canceled at the last hour of 6pm, there was no flight, no connection flight to a nearby country and also no train, not even a bus we had to beg an ordinary taxi driver who decided to embark on 9hrs drive to Copenhagen by road and guess what? we made it to the venue by 3am and got on stage by 3:15am'.



'But sha I no baff and it was a great concert and a soldout concert for that matter, thanks to everyone at the concert for your patience. Thank God especially for journey mercies and to that driver from Pakistan God bless you' he wrote.
