During my days in school, I had thought life will be far better after school but here I am earning 85k/month and that is money that cannot even meet my immediate needs and not to talk of wants and unto other responsibilities.
By age, I'm supposed to have been married but still living in one room which is not advisable to even think of marriage in this condition.
To arrange myself for marriage, I need at least a one bedroom, furnished and comfortable. The yearly rent for that is about 400-450k
Then I am also worried about renewing the rent every year, year and year.
How about catering for the family? Aside rent, feeding, school fees (once married, you begin to reproduce), medical, clothing and so so and so forth.
To live a good life, you need a car for mobility sake as a family.
I can't continue to pay rent. Meaning I need to build a house.
Obviously, the 85k salary is not enough. I need to start a business.
And so many other issues giving me stress and sleepless night.
So my worry is, where would i get the money to do all these with these kind of job i am doing? For years i may not even raise a million naira.
I have seen situations where people no longer able to change clothes just because they now have a family and I'm trying to avoid that by all means.
I'm really really afraid of the future.
I feel there shouldn't be any future.
Keep giving your self high hbp unnecessarily . They will tell you, you are suppose to be married with 5 kids. Ask them is Nigeria suppose to be the way it is ? Ask them is a graduate suppose to marry on 85k job in this economy ? Honestly, if nigerians are reasonable, everyone should be talking about how to fix this country first instead of whether breatheon is married or not.
Osanoghodua1: Men should know how to exert authority on their wives, when you speak, it should be instantly be obeyed that's the dignity of Manhood. A husband is not just another man, he carries authority just like Jesus. Once you speak as a man, it should be final but appeal can come after obedience. We our sisters not marry foolish men.
U be mumu. So he should force the woman to obey him ?
LivingSage: An Open Letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR
Proposal to Rename the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in Honour of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, GCFR
Your Excellency,
I trust this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I write to you as a concerned citizen, deeply appreciative of Nigeria's rich history and the pivotal figures who have shaped our nation's democratic journey. In this regard, I humbly propose the renaming of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), to honour the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, GCFR.
Chief Abiola, born on August 24, 1937, in Abeokuta, was a distinguished businessman, philanthropist, and politician whose life was marked by an unwavering commitment to democracy and social justice. His victory in the June 12, 1993, presidential election, widely regarded as Nigeria's freest and fairest, was a testament to his broad-based support across ethnic and religious lines. Despite the annulment of the election results and his subsequent incarceration, Chief Abiola remained steadfast in his pursuit of democratic ideals until his untimely death on July 7, 1998. His enduring legacy was further recognized when he was posthumously awarded the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) in 2018 by Former President Muhammadu Buhari, and June 12 was declared Nigeria's Democracy Day in his honour.
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, established in 1960, stands as a beacon of Academic excellence and National unity. Founded by Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, it was the first indigenous University in Nigeria, embodying the vision of a nation capable of charting its own educational and developmental course. The university's motto, "To Restore the Dignity of Man," resonates profoundly with Chief Abiola's lifelong dedication to human rights, democracy, and the upliftment of the Nigerian people.
Renaming UNN after Chief Abiola would serve multiple purposes:
1. National Unity: It would symbolize the bridging of regional and ethnic divides, reflecting Chief Abiola's pan-Nigerian appeal and the university's national character.
2. Honoring Democratic Sacrifice: This act would immortalize Chief Abiola's contributions to Nigeria's democratic evolution, inspiring future generations to value and uphold democratic principles.
3. Educational Inspiration: Aligning the university with Chief Abiola's legacy would motivate students and faculty to emulate his virtues of resilience, philanthropy, and commitment to societal betterment.
I acknowledge that such a change requires careful consideration, including consultations with stakeholders, alumni, and the academic community. However, I firmly believe that this initiative would not only honour a National hero but also reinforce our collective commitment to the values for which he stood.
Thank you for considering this proposal. I am confident that under your leadership, Nigeria will continue to honour its past while striving towards a more unified and Democratic future.
Sincerely, Livingsage (Concerned Citizen)

Livingsage or livingidiot ? Later soots you better
Zackattack: Personally, I don’t want to have anything to do with your kind. There’s no excuse for this your behavior towards your parents. Remember say clock dey tick.
Over six hundred thousand nigerians killed due to failed govt. In two years, more than a million nigerians may have been killed. If nigerians can conquer there fear, occupy the streets of Nigeria. Before one million nigerians will be killed by the security agents, who may not be motivated to fight hard for the criminal government, Nigerians will definitely recover there stolen mandate
UltraSolid: You people just don't get it. Maybe because you have never led anything or anyone and don't plan to. Kemi is leader of the Conservative Party. Leaders don't act like this. Iaunching personalised attach regularly against others. Particularly their nation of origin.
Doing such makes others question their judgement, wisdom, maturity plus ability to rise above pettiness and prejudice.
Kemi is acting like a leadership aberration and those of you praising her are just losers imploring her to act as private and ordinary folks, with nothing to lose, would when she is just sabotaging herself with her highly offensive antics other leaders don't engage in.
Someone already mentioned India. Is it a Paradise? Why was Sunak, former UK PM of Indian origin, not attacking India everyday? Do you know how many individuals of foreign descent are/were in the British cabinet? Just show one who has ever acted as Kemi Badenoch is doing to justify your myopic and blind support for her self-harming action merely because you hate Nigeria and will automatically side with anyone disparaging her.
Is Anthony Joshua ignorant of some of the negative realities of Nigeria when he gave the public speech below praising his nation of origin? You guys are all just immature kids and losers who cannot ever understand what is demanded of public figures in civilised clime and will therefore back them to act like street agberos. Kemi is facing backlash already in the UK while your ilk keep egging her on to her downfall.
If she was clamouring for electoral reform, improvement in governance or may be condemning things that happened during the last election. That would have been different. Instead, she was busy attacking nigerians and cooking some stories that never happened to her.
Diligence: Davido was lenient with his words about Nigeria & its economy: "...in shambles..."
Dear Aunt Kemi B: You escaped with your life, Ma'am; things are now worse!
1. In 2023, a lady was stabbed in the face for insisting she would vote her choice 2. In 2023, policeman, Baale were seen snatching ballot boxes 3. In 2023, Oro was conducted on Lagos guber election day 4. Just last year, Mc Oluomo & his thugs threatened people who would not vote APC not to come out at all 5. Just last year, Aunt Kemi, INEC Chairman & co turned off irev, etc so they could manipulate presidential votes & results 6 BAT commenced Coastal road white elephant project while abandoning existing federal road networks that are so deplorable & inimical to free movement of people, foods, services, ... 7. BAT approved Billions of Naira for renovation of vp house 8. BAT bot presidential jet without due process & approval 9... Certain Accountant General of the fed, made away with hundreds of billions of Naira .. 10. A lot of Nigerians were killed for protesting ENDSARS & ENDBADGOVERNANCE 11. Minors were arrested, famished & sent to court 12. Our governors & ministers are corrupt, lousy, & stealing the nation dry, demolishing people's homes & businesses, reallocating landed properties to their cronies, while there are no good roads & hospitals & good school facilities 13...There are a thousand more... Zoo or Jungle... #Free Dele Farotimi
Trust me brother, that woman is not saying all this because she is deeply concerned about nigeria and wants things to get better. She simply wants to ride on Nigeria present predicament to gain popularity among the whites in uk. Most of her stories are actually made up. She claimed that she walks 5 miles everyday to fetch water for bathing before going to school. We all know this is not true, judging from her background here. She is not really attacking the Nigeria system/govt . She is simply making mockery of your situation here in Nigeria and from her remarks, she hopes you never escape from our evil politician to the uk, just as she did. While we condemn shettima and this present evil govt for making our lives miserable, people like kemi simply wants to take advantage of our misfortunes here, to gain popularity in uk. She is a complete asshole.
Also note that she never mentioned any of the points you listed here. She has never really condemned the Nigeria govt or demand for electoral reform or transparency in electoral process
michroskrve: She will be used and dumb. Did you se the former prime minister say negative things against India. Whw. Election comes that's when she will b3 on her knees begging Nigerians to vote fo4 her
SadiqBabaSani: Nigeria hurt her some how, but she should learn to isolate her anger to the politicians who put us here
Correct !! Trust me that woman is just a horrible human. She simply wants to throw nigerians under the train to gain popularity on uk . The same fool who begged Nigeria immigrants for votes. Such a despicable creature
JagabanBorgu: Do you realize that Nigeria was existing before oil was discovered? Do you even realize that Nigeria will be more prosperous without oil? If regional govt is instituted today, I'm sure places like Bayelsa will be so back even with loads of oil.
Mumu !! Tell jagaban to sponsor disintegration of nigeria instead of tax reform clown
ERockson: I hope Ebonyi people should Ronu deeply and stand against using their son blood to redeem Kanu or make a case for him. No doubt they are both criminals and should be treated as such.
This is the real meaning of "Ronu" and it's message for Ebonyi people and others who dislike double standard and hypocrisy
Bro what about you ? Since 2023 jagaban has been dishing premium ebin pawa to you and your ronu brothers. Does it mean you, your papa and mama are second class ronus ?
FuckTheMod: Lol See frustrated MUMÚ ewu All igbos are one so says OSU ALUSI Igbos dey talk Ordinary Osu sef dey talk rubbish. You wey your fellow bigot igbos despair Dey der make pant dey wear you MUMÙ
Are you saying that ronus like you wey dey collect premium ebin pawa from jagaban himself are osu ronus ? This is very interesting
Merchandiservic: This Simon Ekpa situation shows that we can no longer tolerate people who use our name for their own selfish agendas. His arrest is a good step towards restoring peace in the South-East; he has caused too much trouble for our people. We need leaders who will genuinely fight for our interests, not those hiding abroad creating fear. By the way, if you're looking for a shared apartment in Lekki or Lagos Island, I help people find housemates to split rent or short lets. Also, if you have an extra room and can accommodate someone, feel free to contact me. Together, we can make it work!
