I am not sure I totally agree with this. Despite having a flurry of youngsters, Chelsea as a big club needs to continue to lure the best talent in the world.

Don't forget that there are two case scenarios being worked on here.

1. The often rare but feasible possibility of landing a serious gem. This is the best case scenario.
2. The case of long-term financial stability of the club - this is the worst case scenario for the player.


Case in Point, Patrick Bamford who was bought for £1.5m on low wages, had his wages paid by loan clubs throughout his "Chelsea Career" and got sold for £5.5m.

In the scheme of things long-term, it's often a win-win or the club.

the thing about academy like LA masia and Co.. they are period they produce some golden generation from the academy Eg Beckham set at Utd... Inesta set at barca.. the two clubs that have golden generation from the academy now is spurs and Madrid.. maybe Monaco.. it's important to note you need to have stability in coaching to use academy product in Chelsea coaches our simply don't last.. in Abramovic era no coach have lasted up to 4 seasons.. so coaches go for glory already made players instead of gambling with academy boy.. our loaning policy is generating revenue for us to meet FFP... once again it's Branzy.. happy to announce my presence here
