Politics › Re: To The Yorubas On The Lagos Issues by BrickandLace(f): 7:02pm On Jun 18 |
On behalf of Yoruba race, I humbly request the op to cease and desist from opening this kind of threads. Yoruba do not hate Igbo. But Yoruba isn't a synonym for fool either.
I respectfully ask you, to stop fooling around with these threads targeted at Lagos and Yoruba people and it's now irritatingly hypocritical at this point.
We don't wish to meddle in your regions political space, you would never accept such. Why is the 'foolish' Yoruba race any different ?
Be guided ooo.

ElevationD: Without Thomas Edison, who invented the incandescent electric bulb in 1879, you will not be enjoying electric bulbs. The same for Sir Humphrey Davy, who in 1802 invented the first commercially practical electric arc lamp.
Without Karl Benz, Henry Ford, Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot and Gottlieb Daimler & Wilhelm Maybach, all in the 18th and 19th centuries, you’ll not be moving in cars today.
Without Wilbur and Orville Wright (the Wright brothers) in 1903, no one will be flying planes today.
Without Richard Trevithick who invented the first steam-powered locomotive in 1804, and George Stephenson who pioneered the first public steam railways in the 1820s, there would be no railways today.
They left the legacies that you enjoy today, over 200 years ago. They left the world better than they found it.
If you like, keep deceiving yourself and do not leave landmarks or good footprints for your children and others after you. Not all legacies would end up universally celebrated. But all in all , leave a good legacy |

This is not adding up Very good observation. These are show trials for the US and EU. To create an impression APC is tough on terror, while the perpetrators are getting amnesty and preferential treatment. |

Enddy50ty: Many south westerns won’t agree with this poll. Majority of southwest know the poll is true. You listened to IMF world Bank lies and removed subsidy and devalued our currency. only to turn round and inflict multiple taxation on clearly exhausted Nigerians. But you funneled loans and revenues from subsidy and tax into your pockets. And then sold off national assets to neo colonial criminals to secure yourself For a second rigging and second term. Any southwesterner still supporting you is either brain-dead or innately evil. |

Now IMF is holding you by the jugular because they have render the naira worthless and knows you will keep running back to them for loan.
You have taxed everything taxable that the only thing for Nigeria citizens is the air we are breathing, just hope you no go tax that one too. Nonsense government Do you that IMF also deceived Malawi to destroy their agriculture sector in exchange for loans? Leading to food shortages.... Some IMF apologists will not want to go there... |

AMINDA: In your view, only an Igboman can fix Nigeria. It's ironic this is coming from someone who voted Orji Uzo Kalu twice, Theodore Orji twice and Okezi Ikpeazu twice. Even Obi is a two-term governor of Anambra. Did he turn Anambra to Eldorado? Obiano and Soludo beg to differ. Promote your tribesman in peace but quit trying to sell him as the sweetest thing since sliced bread. Keep playing isolation politics and when you lose out, console yourself by claiming you are the only ones who could spot a good leader. At least, other regions are sighting 15 trillion naira projects in their regions with loans that will be repaid by all Nigerians, including your children. That's not even the point . We know their game. But you don't need to be a prophet to know what will happen if you bring back the current disaster in 2027. |
