General Gowon's home has become the display field of Fulani herdsmen. All these are karma's way of pay back. As for you lots ,you can continue to lick northern balls. that's your portion. |

They state govt in the south south and the NNDC get enough money already to take care of the state, but will rather share it amongst themselves and use same money to buy houses in Lagos. Use your head. get off my mention, I have nothing to discuss with you and your likes. |
Politics › Re: Reps Reject Oil Firms’ Relocation To Niger Delta by Bridget95(f): 11:48am On May 06, 2017 |
aribisala0: You can have any narrative you like.
They are not TAKING anything. The Nigerian State is the one doing the taking. The oil companies are doing BUSINESS
There is no nation liike Delta so nothing like people of Delta . .
They are a business enterprise doing business in Nigeria under Nigeran laws. They came in under the laws extant at the time.
If people in the comunity want to renegotiate Nigeria as an entity or the constitution of Nigeria that is fine whether peacefully or by insurrection there is nothing new there. They should roll the dice and deal with the outcome. It is nothing to do with the oil companies. So do not scapegoat the oil companies. Face the Nigerian State and do so boldly.
Oil companiies are not the only companies doing business. There is hardly any business that does not take soething from LAND whether it is Dangote or Chivita so any such laws will affect the whole country.
Let us shhun sentient Mr,take your selfish and arrogant tale to the gutters where they belong, I don't discuss or ague with people of such mindset. get off my mention. |

willibounce1: So you are saying Niger deltans don't work in any of the headquarters in Lagos? You guys just bring stupid emotions and sentiments into serious issues. So if the oil companies relocate to Niger delta, all their workers must be from the region even though most of them prefer to kidnap and get free money rather than work. You think the oil companies are senseless? They know how you people will force useless and brainless touts on them in the name of employing people from your region. Oil business is not ogogoro...you can build your own oil company and put the headquarters in niger delta, abi is anybody stopping you? people of your likes are the reason Nigeria has destroyed by selfishness and greed.who told you that I am from Niger Delta? You lots lack empathy. put yourself in their shoes. would you like your father's compound turned to a milking ground by foreigners ,left dirty and under developed while the papetrators enjoy in their offices in Lagos? get your shitty thoughts off my mentions to the gutters where they belong. |
Politics › Re: Reps Reject Oil Firms’ Relocation To Niger Delta by Bridget95(f): 9:01am On May 06, 2017 |
aribisala0: That is a good question you ask but IT IS THEIR BUSINESS. Hausa people come to sell tomatoes evryday in Lagos no one made anyy law to make them have offices in Lagos.
No one made any law to make the oil companies locate to Lagos or Abuja. Dangote akes his cement in Kogi and Ogun State why does he not locate there. certainly such a law will have implications for him.
The Nolly movie producers sell most of their movies in Alaba.Does anyone insist they must make their movies in Lagos. Who do the Igbo traders recruit to sell in their shops in Lagos ?Who do Suya makers recruit to make suya. Will the Catholic church be forced to relocate to Enugu. What about JAMB should it relocate?
The decision of where to locate is an ECONOMIC decision and ONLY the company knows what is good for it No one forceed the to go to their current locations your narrative is different from the subject matter. These oil companies are taking resources from the land of people of the delta under FG arrangement, they are supposed to show sincerity by fully based in the delta instead of being selfish, self centred and exploitative from a distance where they recruit none indegines to work in the delta and pay royalties to states where their offices are. |

rafindo: I thank this dishonourable members for doing the right thing for once.sentiment apart business are sited where safety is guaranteed and ease of doing business is okay.as far I am concerned the Niger delta is one of the top place in the world where ease of doing business is extinct. With marching ground ideology, aimless so called lazy youth leader that destroy your property for not compensating the boys.pls don't give me that Houston rubbish of having the hqtr of major oil coys.if your are sincere the government provide the necessary and tax rebate for oil coys.Nigeria is the only country where the community shout our oil as if all lands do not belong to the Fgn youyr point is baseless and meaningless.yunck These companies are doing business in the niger-delta and have their pipelines in the delta.why would they have their offices far from the delta where they recruit none indegines and send them to work in the delta. |

BetaThings: Anyone who says Oct 1979 - Dec 1983 was awesome has no regard for history and truth There should be a limit to propaganda
The most popular and much heralded coup in the history of Nigeria was the coup of Dec 1983 that swept away that inglorious regime Nigerian students, market women, workers, civil servants etc from day 1 rejoiced over the sweeping away of that insensitive government
Austerity first entered the economic dictionary during the period That was the period when the former Gov of Old Imo State Dr Sam Mbakwe wept and suggested that Britain should come and recolonise Nigeria A period of import licence hoarding A period of general scarcity of goods Ask Onyeka Owenu how "awesome" the era was compare that era and that of Buhari/idiagbon of 1983-85 and see for yourself that Shagari/ekwueme did well. Buhari/osibanjo of today is no different from 1984 hunger and extreme hardship in Nigeria. |
