WHY WORK WITH US
Professionalism
Looking for a company that is taking out the old problems that has kept the agro sector on its knees?

Think Farmkash.

We may not have scratched up to 10% of the potential that is available and possible through the agro sector in Nigeria. The agro sector holds the key to put more money in our pockets and bank accounts not to mention the impact on the GDP.
That sector will also put more people to work. Young people are interested in farming, they are not just interested in doing farming the old way.
That sector had been left in the hands of local-tech farmers for a long time. It’s time for a new chapter. Farmkash is approaching the agro sector differently with a unique value proposition using the power of trust based collaboration and technology.
With the finest hands-on professional in its ranks,we are here to plug all the holes and knowledge gap in agriculture.

Market
Farmers can produce more if they have guaranteed markets. With the advantage of connecting every farmer on our platform to a wider, waiting market, farmers can now earn and become rich in this industry.
Our ecommerce platform and network is second to none. With our logistics department that help facilitate movement of produce from farmers to middle and end users, you cannot go wrong.

Fund
Many farmers are poor and subsistent in thinking and approach to farming, waiting decades for government and foreign bodies to provide loans and grants. At Farmkash, we are here to do things differently. When a farmer or prospective farmer join us, we provide them in-house funding, the loan is only for serious member-farmers.
A farmer may need capital or cash injection more than once. We understand this, so we have a well-developed system that helps farmers get loans consecutively as well as other support

OUR TEAM
We are a team of agronomist, soil experts and agribusiness experts led by an accomplished pharmacist. We believe in doing the farm business differently and our result so far makes that clear. The vast expanse of arable land is a gift from God that we are yet to exploit fully. With a strong team we are confident we can provide value for you and other stakeholders.

Jessam:

Jessam Cattle ranch and farm have been on the same Enugu site for 3.5 years. Due to popular demand for our livestock we are always expanding our housing for livestock. For example our pig housing has gone from one building that can hold 200 grown pigs to 4 buildings that can hold 1000 pigs. The same for our poultry section. We also pay close attention to maintenance and ensure that repairs are done regularly including repairing floors, replastering walls and rehanging doors. We also look after our surroundings, ensuring grass is cut, weeds are controlled, on a daily basis we pick up rubbish including all types of plastic bags and debris. Hopefully photographs of our farm and animals attests to the high standards of livestock care and farm estate management we adhere too.

Therefore feeding of 1 sow =
2kg daily * 25 Naira /Kg
= 50Naira / Sow / Day
For 1 month
50Naira * 30 days =
1500Naira/Sow/1 Month
For 6 Months
50Naira * 180 days =
9000Naira /Sow/6 Months
Feeding of 40 sows for 6 months =
9000Naira * 40 Sows =
360000Naira / 40 sows /6 months

Feeding of 60 Porkers for 1 cycle
per Kg of Feed = 25 Naira
It takes approximately 7 months for a weaner to reach slaughter weight of 80 kg
If 1 porker will consume 1.2kg of feed daily for the first 3 months
1.2kg * 25 Naira = 30 Naira daily/ Animal

1 month = 30 Naira * 30 days =
900Naira / Month

3 Months = 30 Naira * 90 days =
2700Naira / Animal / 3 months

Remaining 4 Months
1 porker will consume 2kg daily
2kg * 25Naira = 50 Naira / Animal / Daily

50 Naira * 30 days =
1500Naira / Animal / Month

50Naira * 120 days =
6000Naira/Animal / 4 months

Total cost of raising 1 porker for 7 months =
3 months ( 2700 ) + 4 months ( 6000) = 8700 Naira for 7 months

Hence cost of feeding 60 porkers is as follows
30 Naira daily per aimal * 60 Porkers for first 3 months
= 1800Naira Daily /60 Porkers
50 Naira daily per animal * 60 Porkers for last 4 months
= 3000 Naira Daily / 60 porkers

First 3 Months
1800Naira * 90 days =
= 162000/60 Porkers / 3 Months

Next 4 months
50 Naira Daily * 60 Porkers
= 3000 Naira Daily / 60 porkers

3000 Naira * 120 days ( 4 months ) =
360000 Naira / 60 Porkers / 4 Months

Total cost of feeding 60 porkers for 7 months =
3 months ( 162000 Naira ) + 4 months ( 360000 Naira ) =
480000Naira

LABOUR/SALARY
Monthly salary = 17000
2 workers = 35000Naira / Month
35000Naira * 6 Months =
210000Naira

40 Sows farrow 8 weaners / cycle
40* 8 = 320 weaners

320 weaners if sold @ 6000 each
320 * 6000

= 1920000 Naira

Sale of 60 porkers after 7 months
60 Porkers * 25000
= 1500000 Naira

1920000 + 1500000 = 3420000 Naira

Total sales – cost of production = 3420000 – 1170000 =
