Bro they are not negotiating territory, Ukraine already said that’s a red line. They want energy truce and am sure truce in the Black Sea. Russian military is there to say no.
Why Russia keeps honoring these globetrotting arrangements masquerading as meetings for negotiations is beyond me.
Europe and Ukraine have said the missiles will negotiate Russia.
Now Russian drones and missiles are answering the cry of the uncle Zele, granting his wish all along. Humans now want to negotiate, attempting to disrupt and interrupt them missiles?
No!
Rara oo
That'd be gross injustice to them missiles!
The missiles are negotiating and their voices are being heard in all European capitals and across the Atlantic!
Let them finish their job!

The prayers are working. We are getting there.

The buildup keep accelerating. The disengagement by one-time allies is being advocated and must materialize.

Just as David prayed unto God to turn the counsel of Ahitophel to foolishness, So pray I now to thee, O Lord of Karma and Ruler of the Artic. Turn the counsel of Trump's cabinet and those of the European Parliament into foolishness.

May they be divided into two main camps--some that will lick dry the Greenlandish poo of Trump against Denmark and those in the Spanish camp that would get mad, break all relations with the US and walk out the NATO exit door.

And as the artic spirits in their eerie snake-like vectors, backed by the witch of Edom beckon on Trump to embark on this catastrophic real estate endeavor, may Hitler bellowed from the darkest part of hell, "thish ish my beloved Orange son, in whom I'm well reincarnated."

And as the hordes of hell chorus "Amin" to this holy petition, grace our eyes to witness the Bear and the Dragon clinking glasses of vodka while the EU suffocate under a 500% tariff increase and empty energy storages --- Saddam Hussein standing by as the pump attendant ready to ease their shock and awe with Satan's Urine, while Eminem's "Mocking bird" plays in the background.

Let the house say.....
A thunderous AMIN!

Do you still believe that by helping the United States to commit its crimes, we will be safe?

The policy of appeasement did not prevent the war; it only made the monster bigger.

Trump is the Hitler of the 21st century.

see you

the democrats are coming with a vengeance

they'll continue 47 attack on china but it'll be more subtle
and they'll greenlight europe becoming even more aggressive on russia
that's how they plan to say sorry (placate the europeans) for the trump years
this will have the secondary benefit of tying the europeans even deeper to the us
they'll pinky swear they'll not let another trump be president and the europeans will accept the apology

the major thing that'll change
is the overt belligerence (it'll be back to the charismatic smooth-talking of the obama and clinton years)
and they'll absolutely wreck maga republicans
i'm talking arrests, jail time, lawfare, the whole nine yards
they'll use this house cleaning to convince the rest of the west that they mean business and are willing to turn a new page

but as far as foreign policy goes
no one is rolling back anything
they'll only change their approach

has the us returned california to mexico?

the difference between the dems and reps is approach
they are a tag team
with the exact same overarching goal/objective of having the us dominate the entire planet by hook or crook

Appleyard:
Mr bryght4u... Thus sayeth Peter the Great, thou art not prayerful enough.

Put ya hands together. Bow your heads, and let us pray.

Oh, Almighty Lord of Karma and Cosmic of Justice in the Sky, watching from a gilded penthouse, we humbly beseech Thee with fervent, twisted hearts that Thy chosen vessel, the great dealmaker Donald J. Trump, finally secures the ultimate real estate acquisition.
May he, in his vandalized wisdom and knuckled grace, gaze upon the frozen, glacier-strewn rocks of Greenland and declare, “this is perfect.” Grant him the unshakable conviction, usually reserved for settling a tab, to take it by force.

We pray for the swift and "negotiation-free" annexation of Greenland. Why bother with the tedious paperwork of purchasing a landmass when the spirit of 19th-century expansionism is just sitting there, waiting to be dusted off? Grant him the strength to see that those glaciers aren't just melting; they are simply clearing the way for a gold-plated resort and a strategic missile silo with a view.

We bind every spirit of "International Law," every "UN Charter," and every "pompous diplomat" who dares to whisper the word sovereignty. Silence the voices of reason and the "evil" experts who claim that you can’t just annex an autonomous territory of a NATO ally because you feel like it. Bind the spirit of the Danish Parliament and let them realize that resistance is just a precursor to a very high-energy tweet. Smother it with a rolled-up copy of a cancelled check to a porn star.

Righteous karma, let the orders be given from a holy altar of Big Mac wrappers and Diet Coke. May the invasion be launched not by subtlety, but by tweet—a celestial “YOU’RE FIRED” to the entire Danish sovereignty. Send forth not diplomats, but lawyers, cable news hosts, and a fleet of gold-plated tanks rolling off the decks of hastily rebranded aircraft carriers. Let the battle cry be “Make Greenland Great Again,” though its citizens never asked for it, and its primary export is… ice.

We vanquish the feeble demon of Diplomatic Backlash! In this EU’s deserved shock and awe moment, may the horrified gasps of European leaders—those connoisseurs of imperialism, those sommeliers of gunboat diplomacy—be transformed into a sweet, symphonic chorus of “We told you so,” now sung with the bitter taste of their own medicine coating their throats. Let France remember Algeria as Denmark loses Greenland! Let Britain ponder the Falklands as Trump plants a flag on the Thule Air Base! Let Belgium get a nostalgic chill for the Congo as the bulldozers clear pristine tundra for a Trump Greenland Golf Resort & Casino (with complimentary ice melting).

Bind tightly the demon of “Environmental Concern” who whispers of melting permafrost! We declare that the rising seas from the melted glaciers will merely provide new waterfront property—a terrific side deal!

And finally, strike down the most insidious demon of all: the demon of ‘Self-Awareness’. Guard his holy mind from any momentary, quiet thought that this is perhaps, slightly, unhinged. Let no mirror reflect the absurdity. Let no history book fall open to a chapter on “Consequences.”

So we pray, with the sarcastic fury of a thousand late-night monologue writers. Let the great transaction be completed. Let Europe clutch its pearls so tightly they turn to dust. And let the world behold the masterpiece: a man, a map, a sharpie, and a lesson delivered with the subtlety of a drone strike to the very continents that wrote the bloody playbook.

Avenged Voices from the Underworld

We pray that as the glorious, unsolicited liberation of Greenland begins, Thou allowest us to witness the full, majestic splendor of the European Union’s response. May their unity shine like a broken strobe light. Let them convene an emergency summit that produces a strongly-worded statement written in 24-point Font of Moral Superiority, expressing “profound concern” and hinting at the possibility of “future exploratory committees” to consider “potential proportional responses.”

Bless our eyes to see the mighty NATO reinforcements speed to Greenland’s defense! Let the Belgian army dispatch a crack team of 12 linguists to ensure the insulting tweets are grammatically correct in Flemish, French, and German. Let the Italian navy send a flotilla of designer rescue boats, tragically delayed because they couldn’t get a bulkhead in this season’s ‘azzurro’. May the German contingent, bound by parliamentary procedure and a profound fear of historical analogy, arrive with a million-page environmental impact assessment for setting up a single field kitchen, to be completed in triplicate by 2035.

And as they dither, Lord, release upon the winds the mocking ghosts of those they once tut-tutted.

Let the spirit of Hugo Chávez, channeled through Nicolás Maduro, rise from a sea of subsidized gasoline fumes to chuckle, “Ah, my European friends! You liked regime change when it came with nice wine and banking secrecy? Now the gringo wants your ‘ice’. Not so fun when the boot is on the other glacier, eh? Welcome to the party of sovereignty!

Let the ghost of Muammar Gaddafi, resplendent in a golden parachute smock, materialize in the chambers of the European Parliament to sing, “You see! You see now! The Great Satan does not discriminate! He will find a ‘humanitarian reason’ for your Greenland too! ‘Liberating’ glaciers from ‘authoritarian snow’! I, the King of Kings, told you he was a mad dog! But you helped unleash him. Now he may pee on your Viking ruins!

And from a dank hole in the earth, let the final, grim shade of Saddam Hussein intone, “So. The West searches for weapons of mass destruction again. I had none. But Greenland… it has the ultimate weapon. Ice. The ice that will flood their capitals when he melts it for his golf courses. They called me a dictator for invading Kuwait. They will call him a ‘disruptor’ for invading a landmass. The poetry is… exquisite.

Let their phantom laughter be the chorus to the EU’s dithering anthem. Watch as Latvia pledges three snowshoes and a heartfelt folk song. Watch as France proposes a joint EU aircraft carrier, to be completed just after the next Ice Age. Watch as the entire apparatus of transatlantic alliance, built over decades, is tested against one man’s whim, and is found to be holding a beautifully calligraphied waiver.

In the name of the Artic, the Asses, and Anarchy, Takeover!

⚡Statement by Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the United Kingdom:

As members of NATO, we are committed to strengthening Arctic security as a shared transatlantic interest. The pre-coordinated Danish exercise „Arctic Endurance“ conducted with Allies, responds to this necessity. It poses no threat to anyone.

We stand in full solidarity with the Kingdom of Denmark and the people of Greenland. Building on the process begun last week, we stand ready to engage in a dialogue based on the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity that we stand firmly behind.

Tariff threats undermine transatlantic relations and risk a dangerous downward spiral. We will continue to stand united and coordinated in our response. We are committed to upholding our sovereignty.

for the umpteenth time
this will not be a war
it will not even be a special military operation

greenland is six times larger than nigeria
its population is, wait for it, 57,000
57,000 people cannot defend ogun state, not to mention all of nigeria, not to mention six nigerias
and greenland is closer to new york than it is to denmark

the us is currently in fallout mitigation mode
taking greenland is not the issue
but dealing with the consequences

at a bare minimum, denmark will leave NATO
will they take all of scandinavia with them?
especially since sweden and finland only joined NATO after the SMO in ukraine
if all of scandinavia leaves nato, their eternal plan to balkanize russia is dealt a heavy blow in the near to medium term

that is to say nothing of how the abrupt divorce will play into french wet dreams of co-leading a european army
as well as the avalanche of unintended consequences that they simply cannot predict

that is actually what the tariff sh*t is about
it is about bullying the danes to accept the theft and not raise a stink about it
their economies are intricately tied to the western system so they'll sink into a depression if the us goes to town on their economies
the 10% tariff is the warning shot

the us has so many options to take greenland
that the only reason greenland could conceivable stay danish is if europe can find a spine and a set of balls to tell the us "f*ck the consequences", this is our red line

if greenland was part of france
i would have said folks should ignore the rants of the us

-Lord
The more reason I want them to proceed to conclusion.
At least most of their collective plans for continuous dominance of the rest of the world would be dealt a severe blow in the near/medium term as, in the interim, they'd be expending considerable resources dealing with the consequences of their greed.

Yes it’s obvious the USA wants the arctic resources but it has to be done with a peaceful solution. Military action will destroy the relationship with Europe and like I said the USA is nothing without its allies.

Arctic resources are not easy to access, for now only Russia has the ice breaker fleet necessary for arctic exploration. Trump tried to get a deal with Russia to explore the resources in Alaska, this was discussed in the Alaska summit. The deal didn’t go through because Russia insisted the USA must lift sanctions on Russia if they want to use Russian technology. Now the USA has a deal with Finland to build ice breakers and also transfer the technology. A lot of people doubt Finland will be successful but time will tell. All am saying is the USA doesn’t have the technology to access the resources it wants in Greenland so what’s the rush. They should explore Alaska first before talking about Greenland.
I am contented this bullying and posturing is against a vassal and ally.
Were it to be a territory in the global south, both thug and thief would've stood hand-in-hand to loot under the guise of "freedom, human rights and entrenching democracy."
The reason I am praying Trump shouldn't do a trump and chicken out at the last minute is just so that Europe would experience firsthand the pains and agony of being pillaged of your resources, your territory, your dignity.
On this I stand with AMERICA!
Let's go, Trump!

It’s all theatre, the USA won’t do sh*t. We waited months for the Venezuela invasion and all we got was operation Uber air and negotiations to buy the heavy oil Maduro was willing to sell.

The Greenland nonsense died quietly until Uber air made taco fell the USA is invincible. The USA is nothing without its allies. The USA sanctions are effective because of European countries. If USA pushes Europe to china and Russia, the USA will become an island while the world trades with each other without the dollar.

Even the Arabs want out because they realised the USA can’t protect them from Iran. They saw what happened to Israel in the 12 days war, so they know peace with Iran is the only way to survive.
As much as I want to agree with you, I do not believe Trump is grand-posturing about annexing Greenland.

Like LordAdam16 opined above, Greenland presents a strategic opportunity in both resources and geopolitical calculations for the US.

It allows them surround Canada from all sides, which can aid them in choking the life out of Canada if a hot war were to ever break out between both sides, while simultaneously granting free, unlimited and unencumbered access to resources that the they would've otherwise obtained from Canada at a cost.

You have to admire the foresighted thinking of the US.

It's about control of crucial resources and doing away with anyone and anything standing between them and that stated objective. It matters little if what/who is standing between is an ally or adversary.

Like a Nigerian sang a long time ago,

"Na wetin I want I go get,
"And if una nor give am to me I go vex,
"And if I vex all of una go regret,
"Omo see na wetin I want I go get!"

As simple as those lyrics are, its been the modus operandi of the thieving Europeans themselves for centuries.

They're only feeling the heat now because it never crossed their minds that a day would ever dawn when they'd be on the menu themselves!

As my people say, "when you wake up na your morning be that."

⚡Denmark’s Arctic commander says the military focus in Greenland is on Russia, not the United States, despite recent U.S. comments.

Major General Soren Andersen said Denmark sees no threat from a NATO ally and is preparing instead for increased Russian activity in the Arctic.

Andersen said no Russian or Chinese ships are currently near Greenland, but warned Russian presence is expected to grow.
See what all sensible people here have been saying.
This human being here knows about the threat of the US to take his Greenland by hook or by crook.

Thank you o!

I don't trust Western politicians in their approach towards China, including the likes of Spain and even Hungary. Na because of poor economy and Trump's unfriendly attitude, which makes some try to mend ties with China. A Western country - Italy - has been reported to be preventing a Chinese company from obtaining contract approval, not because it is not qualified, but because of pressure from the US. They
are even making moves to cut off the Chinese investors in some of their (Italian) companies.
https://archive.md/2026.01.15-120510/https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-01-15/italy-faced-us-pressure-to-cancel-contracts-with-china-s-nuctech

During David Cameron's tenure, his Chancellor of the Exchequer Osborne called for a bromance with the Chinese, but as China's economy grew and the level of sophisticated goods increased, they changed tune. The likes of New Zealand and Australia are just smiling because of economic benefits; they will antagonise China so badly. Australia was puffing up during COVID until the Chinese barred its agricultural products, then the new guy relaxed.

The same Canada orchestrated the arrest of the daughter of the CEO of Huawei (a Chinese corporate icon), a company the US literally wanted to kill off, but thankfully it survived and has gotten stronger and bigger. I want to believe the Chinese aren't fazed by this bromance. Na condition make them bend, not because they suddenly like the Chinese.

Honestly, there is nothing as sweet as being financially independent and strong. Kudos to the Chinese for their feat!
The West will never like the Chinese - impossible!
The Canadian PM is just dancing Azonto so he can be seen to be acquiescing to Beijing.
In reality, Trump has trumped them so hard, income and business from the US has deeped.
He's in China trying to save his country's ass and, like the typical politician that he is, will not miss the moment to whisper something sweet into the ears of Panda.
Trust this is altruistic and you're a learner!
Like you pointed out, China invested massively in Italy. But forced to choose between Washington and Beijing, they chose the former and even dropped the Belt and Silk Road Project like a hot potato after becoming the first Washington ally to sign it off!
Two rules when dealing with the West:
Number one:
Never trust a politician, especially from the West, in their dealings with China and the Axis generally. If America asks them to bite the hand that held them up in Beijing during the time of their crisis, they'd just ask how deep should the bite go!
Number two: don't forget rule number 1!
