Powers :

Having began our 21 days bath rituals, here are reasons for the ritual items and their spiritual representations. Quantity and usages:


1st. Ogirisi leaves: ogirisi tree is a true representation of spirits. Thats why we see this tree in all most sacred places telling you that '' spirits are here''.
Ogirisi could be seen as a sign of liberty, wholesomeness, and occupancy. Thats why we use it for land demarcation. Telling known and unknown that here is the portion. "Here" belongs to Mark while "there" belongs to Mathew.
In spiritualism, we use ogirisi while we wish to set an innocent free. Free from evil spells, bondage and curse.
We shall need plenty of ogirisi leaves in this present rituals. Since we are buying it at no cost, therefore, pluck as many possible as your pot can contain with 5-7 litres of water. We shall make use of big pot to cook it.

2nd. Mkpuru akwu ojukwu: Akwu ojukwu is a special specy of the popular known mkpuru akwu ( palm nut) with spiritual significancy. Akwu ojukwu here are used for many spiritual reasons basically for healings. In every family with little enfant here in Igbo land you must see Mkpuru akwu ojukwu oil which is used during convulsion. When children are under convulsions (an attack caused by evil spirit), what we do is to pluck plenty ogirisi leaves, set fire at the entrance of the compound, put ontop the fire the ogirisi leaves. The fume pursue the evil spirits while we rob the sick convulsion child mkpuru akwu ojukwu oil all over the body and eyes. Force open his/her mouth with a spoonful of akwu ojukwu oil and pour inside for total deliverance.
