Hello beautiful Mamas and Papas in the house.

Please is the promo still on going?

I called wakanow requesting for the promo package, I was asked to send an email, which I did.I got a response few hours later, the cost the gave me was N666210, for United. Meanwhile I asked for Delta 'promo' economy and the cost for upgrade to premium economy.

Pls can someone help me out to confirm if the promo is still on going.

Thank you.

To God be the glory!!!!...I got my visa approved on Friday.

Indeed it was a(25mins) drill and unexpected questions. Here is the transcript...

Me: Good morning
VO: Good Morning
VO: Reason for travelling
Hubby: Vacation and childbirth
VO: Which state in USA
Hubby: Philadelphia and New York for vacation and then New Jersey for Childbirth.
VO: have you been there before?
Hubby: Yes, for a training
VO: For how long
Hubby: Three weeks
VO: how long is your marriage..
hubby: Bleep
VO: When was your traditional marriage?
Hubby: last year
VO: what is your mother-in-law's name
me: Mrs...(VO: I'm not referring to you, the question is for him (hubby))
Hubby: Mrs...Bleep
VO: what is your father-in-law's name?
Hubby: Mr Bleep
VO: Your wife's home address before she got married?
Hubby: (hubby mentioned the location..the VO asked him for the full address) thank God hubby remembered the add.
VO: Where did you do you wedding
Hubby:Bleep
VO: Do you have your wedding Pic
Hubby: He showed him our wedding pic (we only brought one copy)
VO: looked at the picture and asked (Who was that and the name?)
Hubby: the Priest and Fr.xxxx
VO: have you travelled before together?
Hubby: Yes...Bleep
VO: For honeymoon?
Hubby: No.
VO: Do you know her two years ago?
Hubby: Yes
VO: What where you to her then?
Hubby: Friend
VO: Have you been to this country Bleep (one country in African)
Hubby: Yes but on transient
VO: for how many days
Hubby: for I night
VO: Where do you work
Hubby: Bleep
VO: (nodded)
VO: what is your job role
Hubby: Bleep
VO: How much do you earn together with your wife monthly
Hubby:Bleep
VO:How Much do you planned to spend?
Hubby: Bleep
VO: Why that hug amount?(with a surprised look)
Hubby: for vacation and Childbirth
VO: Oh! I see (he nodded)
VO: How old is your pregnancy ?
Me: 13 weeks plus
VO: Which Hospital?
Me: Infact the name don comot for my head...i just heard myself saying..Hackens..Hackensack..thank God for hubby)
Hubby: We have email correspondent with the doctor /Agent
VO: let me see (hubby showed the letter to him)
VO: when do you intend travelling?
Hubby: Early January
VO: Do you wish to travel before then?
Hubby: The plan is for January
VO: Pick up your passport after the break...

This was just too much....Hubby was already getting tired of the questions. I thank God, that the drill was not in vain.
Infact the name of the hospital no come fit me pronounce Hacken..Hacken..lol..I was not so sure of the name, because his email correspondent has been with the agent/doctor and he is the initiator., Hubby was a bit worried as per..where did my wife see the name of the hospital, hope she knows what she is saying...lol.

(Maybe the questions about me was because of my first denial when I applied for a training sometime last two years while I was still single. My company sponsored but the VO wanted my account statement too, back then I had little or no fund then..lol..thus my denial).

We really have to be prepared, they can ask the unexpected.

So glad I joined this forum. I was able to convince huuby to prepare a spread sheet and to take our wedding photograph...he managed to take just one. He believed that nothing can make them deny our Visa since he is a frequent traveller ...Omo..me I no wan take chance at all....they don deny me before and I don't want to go unprepared... I reduced cost of personal spending to boost my bank account details (hubby would asked are you the one sponsoring yourself, why are you giving yourself headache for nothing (in my mind i would say you don't know this witchy witchy VOs..dey fit come again come ask me the same question.. i no wan third chance for this good condition we i dey so....lol).

When he saw the drill, he confessed to me that at a point he got confused..lol

My husband learnt a lesson from this...never to be too confidence about yourself....all through his trips interview has been so easy for him little questions without stress.

I thank God for His favour and this wonderful forum for your contributions.

One love.

All the mum in the house.....Please guide me on this...

Is there something wrong not taken folic acid during early trimester?

Actually, I was advised by my doctor not to take any medication during my trimester. I adhered to his advice.

I later discovered while searching the net, that it is good to take folic acid before and during pregnancy.

However, the reason he gave was that my body contains what the baby need during the first trismester. Now I'm in my second trimester I was giving Pronatal.

Second question

Which milk is good for a pregnant woman?.

I just got Frisomum, I don't know if it's okay.

Note: If this is not the right place to post my concerns, please pardon me .

Hi everyone, I am new in this forum.

I have applied for studies in Canada but was denied early this year, reason was on finance.

Honestly I don't really understand why I was denied because of finance, the amount in the statement was sufficient enough for my studies.

My husband was the sponsor.

Although, I applied immediately I got married and did not put evidence of change of name.

the question is this...

I want to apply again but around November next year.

I am an expectant mother and by then by his grace I would have put to bed. I would love to go with my child during my studies perhaps enrol my child in day care during my studies.

how possible is it for them to grant me study visa with my child?

I would need urgent and genuine response. Thank you

Happy Sunday to you all.

I have gotten correspondence from a doctor in NJ, the bill for delivery in the hospital.

Please do I need to pay the money or commitment before travelling or is the email correspondence with my bank details enough for the interview?

Although we were asked to pay $200 on our first appointment by January and pay the rest after delivery.

Looking forward to your urgent response. Thank you

Thank God that I'm a member of this informative forum.

Please, i have a question to ask and i need a genuine and urgent response.

During our visa application..in the column for duration of stay, my husband and i applied for 2weeks. Although he is the one that will be staying for two weeks while i stay back for child delivery, in addition he is the sponsor. We intend telling the VO of our reason for traveling during the interview (wife child =delivery (11 weeks) and hubby =vacation (2 weeks).

The question is this.

Will the duration of stay i filled in my form contradict my statement (as per child birth for 11 weeks), if I'm being asked the duration of stay?

secondly... Can someone pls help me out with any doctors email in NewYork, so that i will commence my email correspondence.....Please!!!!!!!

Thank you

Hello everyone, i am a new member. i want to give birth in USA, have never been there before, although i have been denied visa ones when i was still single but now I'm married and expecting my first child. I am looking for contacts of hospital/birth center that can provide accommodation for the child and mother on arrival and after giving birth in New york with affordable prices. i would also like to the know the cost estimate for both child delivery and accommodation. This will help us during our interview with VO by next month. i would like to mention that my hubby has been to USA a couple of time before when he was still single but his USA visa expired 2013.

your honest response would be appreciated. thank you.

Please it is very very urgent!!! your response will guide us on what to say or present during the interview.
