I don't really care what you find hard to believe, that's what happens and nope the cop was White. There were 4 killings of Black males, all unarmed in 3 weeks by the police, 2 in the same damn area (FERGUSON), 1-2 days apart and they shot a Black female in the head from Howard University for filming. She lived, but they were trying to hold off on the surgery until Monday so she could die. They don't want her telling anything.

This happens all the time, the issue is that these are the ones that have been caught. We've been dealing with this for an extremely long time (hundreds of years). We are tired of getting shot the fck up because you're scared of Black ppl and think we're going to turn the tables. Obi1kenobi: Apparently, circulated footage shows the teen who was gunned down had commited a robbery moments before the shooting incident and this was admitted by his partner to the police. The boy physically assaulted a shop clerk and stole some items from the store. It makes me so sad and angry. The cop who gunned him down wasn't even aware he was a suspect in the reported robbery. I staunchly believe there was some kind of provocative assault on the cop which got him to overreact and shoot the kid.

All this new dimension just confirms is what everyone knows. Blacks in America do have a serious crime problem. You can deny it till you're blue in the face but they're always caught with their hands in the cookie jar. Stop commiting crime and stop being a goddamn liability to the society and maybe - just maybe - the authorities would stop profiling you. Second of all GANGS are NOT UNIQUE to Black Americans. The biggest GANG is the AMERICAN govt/White Supremacy. Third, the bloods and the crips did not start out as rival gangs; they started out as different sets to PROTECT the community from the police. They are the children/grandchildren of the Black Panthers movement. Whites put drugs and guns into the community, started problems and it spiraled in a different direction. The issue is that we weren't aware of the tactics of White Supremacy and so we didn't see the signs until much much much later. We're now setting up new versions of the Black Panther Association armed with a different set of tools and we're winning. Bloods and Crips (which has actually died down a lot) are unifying and understanding the effects of what was done to us. In fact BLOODS = Bloodline Of Our Descendants.

It's still something we're tackling but it's died down dramatically. We have organizations setting up to address our issues. Gang violence is rooted in:

Yes, I am an American African; this is the term I use for myself. Sometimes I say African in America, sometimes I just say Black American. Whatever floats my boat at that time. I am very proud of my roots/ties to Africa. I have a lot of love and respect for the motherland (and there is nothing wrong with nomadic life or contemporary life). And I love my brothers and sisters in Africa. I just love my ppl, wherever we are. What I detest is the shunning, arrogance and ignorance.

I'll try and address your question in the best way that I can. IMO, this isn't really all that prevalent anymore, it used to be, but many of are not on that anymore. You still have your ignorant niggrums who think a certain way, but this has died down dramatically. I mean way down.

It continues because of three things:

1.) Self-Hate, I can't stress this enough. We are taught to hate hate hate hate us and anything and ANYONE that derives from Africa. I really mean this. When we were segregated, this was less of an issue because we were teaching our own. However, the impact of slavery and jim crow was still present as it is today. When you're taught from a very young age (images, stories etc) that ppl who look like you never did anything, were swinging in trees etc, you don't want the association and so when you encounter someone from there, the indoctrination has been in play for so long, that you either shun or think you're better. We've been severely damaged in many ways (all of us, not just in America). You'll find these same commonalities amongst a lot of other Blacks in the diaspora. A lot of us are waking up because we're now researching and understanding what our place is, what we've accomplished as a people, which in truth is really astounding, truly it is. You sound like someone that's on the up and up, so I don't think I really need to elaborate.

2.) A lot of us are very upset with our folks in Africa for selling us. Now me personally, I've made my peace with it, because in truth, it was a complex situation, where in its entirety it cannot solely placed on you all's shoulders. White ppl manipulated *gaps* and used that to their advantage (they still do this, which is why y'all need to getcha sh*t together and squash the tribalism, because that's what they exploit). They'd also outright steal Blacks. Many were also forced to comply with the slave trade and many led resistance. Not many sold us willingly, about 2-3, 7 tribes in total did the selling and tbh it wasn't anything they thought it would be, but a lot of us are angry at y'all and so that anger and frustration points itself into ridicule, disassociation and condescension, just try to understand y'all. We all need healing and it doesn't help when ppl make ignorant comments like parasite and nihl lol. We have to be understanding of EACH OTHER without DISMISSAL and without being CONFIDENT in ignorance aka arrogance


3.) Divide and Conquer: some serious mind games on both our ends, orchestrated by hundreds of years of slavery and jim crow in the USA/Other parts of the diaspora and hundreds of years of colonization in Africa. The trick is to pit each other against each other by saying *we don't like y'all* and *y'all don't like us.* That's where it began. They do not want Africa's children to reconnect to each other and to its mother, real talk. We are a threat to them. Yes, many of us are ignorant and many of y'all are lol. Cuts both ways. I used to be ignorant until I started to dig/research the truth. You can't use quantity based on ratio as the yardstick - you've to use quality based on the total number of academics from both sides. When you do that, you'll find out that African American academics in the top-echelon of the educational system in America out number Africans by a long mile. 80% of Africans in America have college degrees because most of them went there to study - that's a no-brainer. African Americans aren't there to study - they're in their country - so peep the difference. So basically that premise doesn't add anything to your argument.

Well, a lot of the Lebanese in Nigeria today most likely came as refugees after the Israeli invasion of Lebanon, just as they've got a huge diaspora in South America. And some were just mere immigrants they made something out of nothing - a classic example is Gilbert Chagoury(billionaire), who's one of the biggest sponsors of the Clinton family. He was born and raised in Nigeria. The success of Indian immigrants in East Africa is well documented - and how Idi Amin expelled them from the country.

I signed up to add it is my supposition that Juror B37 was planted by Zimmerman's family (her hubby is an attny) and she swayed the others to vote not guilty when they recently came out stating that they wanted to rule differently. Additionally, Angela Corey (FL prosecutor) may be investigated.

Here is the evidence that indicates that 1.) TM had NO BLOOD or DNA of Zimmerman on his body/clothing. There was no bruising on his knuckles 2.) Zimmerman's clothing and hands 45 minutes AFTER the incident was as clean as a whistle. 3.) Those injuries were self-inflicted, he lied and even if TM had started the fight, he was well within his right to do so. We went everywhere and left our presence with the building of civilizations, many of the indigenous people of these civilizations are still alive but are relegated to the bottom and never seen on television, but these are also Black peoples who migrated from Africa and settled those lands, they are still present in many many areas outside of Africa, many areas. We're a special people and I think it's why we're hated so much. Black on Black crime is extremely complex and has a myriad of components attached to it. It's reduced a lot, but when you're fighting a system with institutionalized racism, it's very hard to rectify things when your communities are dependent upon others who have this type of power. I actually believe that when we were segregated, we were better off, we had very independent successful Black communities, many of which were literally destroyed by Whites. from 1889-1930s I believe Blacks had established over 130+ banks. We also had our own transportation services (bus lines, taxis etc) manufacturing and distributing centers, movie theater, schools/universities, hospitals (sometimes), real estate agencies, trading centers (this is why they bombed/burned Tulsa Oklahoma in 1921, one of many), farming/agriculture, masonry, grocery stores, restaurants, clothing retail shops, Doctors, Lawyers etc, we had a lot, a lot was destroyed and many efforts were brought into destroy it. You had a lot of Blacks who still worked outside the community and due to Blacks having all the skills, there was competition and a power struggle that would've ensued and so the Govt began to bring in the poor Whites from other areas to scale Black workers and to thwart the successful communities that Blacks were beginning. We're a strong people, so many don't know their potential.
