Just imagine if we had a player of Henderson quality for every position on the pitch.

To even make matters worse, the not just okay players we have still got injured.

The whole team cannot be perfect, you cannot have world class quality everywhere, it's the coach duty to synergize the team. Abegi, this squad should be doing more, just imagine we had Bruno injured this season what would the excuse have been I guess we'd even be contended finished 6th. The major problem we have is consistency.

From the stat you posted, Man Utd has lost the least amount of games (2, same wirh City and Liverpool) and a win tomorrow will push Utd to 3rd, 6 points behind joint leaders City n Pool.

Tomorrow's win isn't guaranteed so let's leave that out of it. We couldn't even beat that lacklustre Arsenal team home and away... Got hammered 6 goals by Tottenham.. How many of those games have we truly dominated?

Man City has a good squad, in which they can easily replaced any player without feeling the impact unlike Man Utd where injury to Martial and Cavani allow us to turn to James, Look at Man Utd bench at times, you will be seeing two to three goal keepers on the bench

So it's Injury to Martial and Cavani that ruined our season huh, let's keep deceiving ourselves... I rest my case till next season

Look at the depth of mancity forward line and compare it to ours.

Very correct, every team has an excuse, so don't make it seem like we have had a season without blemish.

Like I said go back to 2017/18 and you'll find a similar pattern, let's not be deceived by this 2nd position ish. We should be competing for the title. Talking about blemish, how many major injury crisis did we have compared to a team like Liverpool? Mancity's forward line wasn't as clinically this season, but guess what they still got the job done despite starting the season awfully... Let's not hide behind petty excuses else we'll keep settling for mediocrity served on a platter of Gold. This team should be doing more

As for the misfortune, every team has an excuse, the truth is that we should have still been contending for the title till now. There's no excuse for that

The people using our position on the Log table to console themselves are seriously unbelievable, we should be in the rat race with city up to this moment looking at the misfortune of a team like Liverpool and Co., how are we so satisfied with mediocrity? The same thing happened in 2017/18 under Muo when we finished which was obviously due to the fact that other teams were largely asleep, we all know how the next season went when other teams picked up form.

Just look at our record against the top 6 teams in the league this season, yet people still think we would magically contend better next season. We really need to stop deluding ourselves, I don't hate Ole but he doesn't have that hunger for more, I really hope he proves me wrong next season though.
