My brother, it is his hard earned money, no way he can buy it having the knowledge that the car was accidented.

It boils down to Transparency on the part of the Dealer and also been realistic on the part of the buyer. We importers know how these things works. Look at the links, there is more than what meets the eye in importation of Cars. So far so good, his Vehicle is up n running with no issue.

Some will tell you they have a budget of 3m for 2010 Highlander. Except if he point a gun on someone's head

If I go by autocheck report of these vehicles, I won't move an inch to buy them. You will be surprised some were just coupled with their parts and are back on the Road

Accidented Cars: With the current exchange rate,the difference in price between clean title cars and salvage cars is 500k and above. When was the last time you saw any thread on pre-order here? Reason is because of high exchange rate coupled with high custom duty especially on latest cars.

Can you buy a Clean Title 2010 Corolla for N3.5m when salvage sells for N3m on the average. Better ask for extent of the damage on the Vehicle as a deciding factor.

Odometer Reading: Both Dealers n buyers are guilty of this. Buyer wants a 10yr old Vehicle to have 50kmiles. How is that possible?

On the other hand,not all Vehicles with high mileages are bad, most times, vehicles with high mileage are highway miles,probably that is the only vehicle owner has. Record have it that such cars are well maintained by owner to avoid disappointment.

Mileage is a number, it doesn't depict the actual true state of a Vehicle. Maintenance is Key

Conclusion: Buyer should be realistic and understand cars are not picked on road side in America. If you detest a Salvage Car, be ready to chunk out Cash to buy a Clean Title Accident Free Cars. Nothing good comes Cheap

Dealers should also do their bit and be transparent.

I once googled my car VIN and it linked me to a website my car was offered for sale. Had been involved in 2 head on accidents. I shock. Car has giving no issues in 2 years sha.

Not all accidented cars are bad in their entirety. Moreso, autocheck report are been exagerated by insurance adjuster at times so that owner can get a good claim from insurance coy.

For every accidented vehicle, once tranny and engine are not affected, every other damage are secondary
