In real sense, this is more of economic reason and not racism as there are lots of Indian businesses within that community( Indian schl, The Bazar, Indian Bar/Restaurant to mention a few).

My Dad is guilty of this though and I'm yet to understand the rationale behind it but it's not for financial reason.

I can tell you the ratio of foreigners to Nigerians in Ilupeju ( Assosciation Avenue down to Town Planning way) is 50:50 but landlords prefer the foreigners to co-habit themselves especially when you have 2 or more foreigners already living in the building.

@ OP... You need to seek medical attention asap as your case could get worse with time. I'm sure you are between 28 - 40yrs old and probably the nature of your job involve lifting heavy objects. You probably didn't notice one of your testes was getting bigger than the other since you didn't feel any pain @ initial stage.
All you have to do is see a doc, ultrasound scan will be done before they can know what exactly it is. Could be torsion, hydrocele, endo-cylectomy e.t.c. Prepare your mind for an Operation. You will be fine
