Calebsky:I HATE DAT ODD 1.08 IT HAS DONE ME SOMETHING IN THE PAST |
Mversed:Rep. of Ireland and Germany both have the same odds to win @ 1.45. They are both good for the WIN. Looking critically Germany/Draw @ 1.10, Rep.of Ireland/Draw @ 1.08 and Germany Handicap(0:1) @ 1.10, Rep.of Ireland Handicap(1:0) @ 1.08. Personally, I feel one of them may play out a FT DRAW. I'll prefer to play Germany Win and Rep. of Ireland a DRAW. Just my thoughts! |

Euro 2016 Tips – Tuesday 8th September England v Switzerland England became the first team to book their place in France 2016 after a predictable 6-0 win over San Marino on Saturday, notable only for the shocking state of the pitch and Wayne Rooney’s record-equalling 49th goal for England. Switzerland now are odds on to join England in the finals after their stunning comeback against Slovenia. 2-0 down with just 10 minutes to go, the Swiss scored three times in those final ten minutes, including a 94th minute winning goal, in order to turn the game on its head and put themselves five points clear of Estonia in third. As such, this is a game that now means much more to Switzerland than it does England, but with so many players having plenty to play for, England won’t be taking this game lightly. As such, England are the strong favourites here and my choice of bet here is to back England to win and both teams to score at best odds 3/1 (4.0) with BetVictor. However, I would also keep a close eye out on the Goalscorer markets as I think it would be fitting for Wayne Rooney to score his record-breaking 50th goal for England at Wembley. That market won’t be available until nearer kick off, but when it is, I’d also be tempted to back Rooney to score at any time. Sweden v Austria Mathematically, Austria are not yet qualified for France 2016, but after taking 19 points from 21 available, their emergence as one of the surprise teams in qualifying, from a group containing Russia and their opponents today Sweden, is some achievement. Sweden were in a healthy position before Saturday’s game with Russia but a 1-0 defeat saw Russia close the gap on the Swedes to just a single point and now this is a game Sweden must win in order to maintain at least second place in the group. With Russia facing a relatively easy three game run in against the groups lower ranked teams, it looks likely they will pick up the maximum nine points, so nothing short of victory for Sweden will do here. That is a tall order against an Austrian team that has won their last six matches in the group, after opening the group with a 1-1 draw in Vienna against Sweden. Austria know that a point from this game will see them qualify from the group and I think that this fast-emerging team has the talent to take that home with them. As such, I am backing the draw here which is available at 5/2 (3.50) best with Betfred. - -Excerpts from my inbox messages |
International Tips – Monday 7th September Northern Ireland v Hungary After securing a 3-1 victory away in the Faeroe Islands, at the same time Hungary were drawing 0-0 at home with Romania, a victory here for Northern Ireland would be enough to see them qualify outright for the finals next summer. Michael O’Neill’s men have enjoyed an outstanding qualifying campaign thus far and with a packed Windsor Park roaring the home team on, I strongly fancy Northern Ireland to grab the three points here against a Hungary team that are a pale shadow of some of the famous Mighty Magyar teams of the past. Bet365 are offering 13/8 (2.63) on Northern Ireland to win this game and I think that is an incredibly generous price, so I’ll be backing that without any shadow of a doubt for a 1pt stake to kick things off. Armenia v Denmark The only five team group in the competition, Group I, has been one of the strangest in the competition thus far. Of the five teams, only one remains unbeaten and that is Albania, but they lie in third place behind Denmark, despite having a better goal difference and having played a game less. Portugal sit atop the group having won four of their five games but have looked far from convincing in qualifying. Denmark now travel to Armenia on the back of a 0-0 draw with Albania on Friday. Armenia lost 2-0 in Serbia at the same time and have been the groups weakest team, with just one point collected out of a possible 18. The best price you can get on Denmark winning the game outright is 37/40 (1.92) with BetVictor and certainly looks good value, but the Danes have been stuttering in the group. I am not wholly convinced by them here but the price is too good to pass up on (1pt stake). -Excerpts from my inbox messages |
