Like true warriors, we pledged to convert the Naira into dollars and deposit them into our trusted partner's US account, so we could wield their card on the intense battlefield of online purchases.
Alas, all our attempts to contact our partner failed, and time slipped away. Despair overwhelmed us! Furthermore, when we requested a quote from our client, the item's price was $41.12. Yet destiny played a trick on us, for when we returned to make the payment, the price had increased to $41.27. Unfortunately, our client had already fulfilled their credit, and we couldn't ask for additional funds to cover this significant difference.
With no time to lose, we tried our luck with the Geepay virtual card, only to be struck down with a suspension. As a last lifeline, we turned to Eversend, but alas, they charged us a one-time $3 card fee, along with a 3.5% processing fee and a dreaded $0.5 maintenance and transaction fee. Their conversion rate of N1830/$ was a necessary evil we had to accept for the sake of expediency. We poured our available funds into the account, only to have it unexpectedly reversed, leaving us in suspense about the entire affair.
By the grace of fate, we found solace in Chipper, a loyal ally in times of need. Unfortunately, our virtual card had expired due to the passage of time. Although skepticism threatened to taint our alliance, we were pressed for time to make the payment for the esteemed artifact before nightfall.
