These are certainly valid but one very important but often overlooked step, which was briefly mentioned in the 5th step in purchasing a vehicle in Nigeria, is running a Vehicle History Report.

If you intend to purchase a tokunbo or a Nigerian used vehicle, particularly for the Tokunbo, ensure you get a history report.

Get the vehicle VIN or Chassis Number, and forward it to a vehicle history platform.

These checks can be very inexpensive compared to the millions that go into vehicle purchase.

You would be amazed at the kind of damage vehicles imported into Nigeria undergo in the US or Canada, before import.

Most of these vehicles have undergone accident damage, flood or water damage, fire damage, have been vandalized, stolen, and of course, the Nigerian Car dealers favorite pastime, mileage or odometer tampering.

Spend 5 minutes and 1000 - 3000 Naira and save yourself 5 years and hundreds of thousands in vehicle repairs.

don't bother I now got it, just that some information cannot be gotten free though like title (salvage) but others can easily be gotten with the vin intact. I can get vehicle name, make, model, engine type, initial colour, etc but other information outside manufacturer stock can't be gotten free like registration, colour change, salvage/accident title etc

also remove cash price and instead fix prices as car accessories: tyre inflator, vaccum cleaner, car shampoo, mp3 transmitters, etc etc.

We considered the prizes sir, but we felt cash would be less complicated and more appreciated for this first edition. The cash prizes will be of various sums awarded in estimated order of merit.

For future editions of the challenge, we may consider diversifying the prizes, based on the response to this edition.

it's either your game wasn't described well or it will just be too tough.

I cant have brain eruption ontop hustling because I see your game as hustling than fun, but I will stay tuned I can learn 1 or 2 things from vin decoding.
