the odometer reading that has suddenly become an oversight was uploaded online and could be easily retrieved without calling anyone, messaging anyone or going to USA with mechanic to view.

the auction site put it there for transparency as is the standard everywhere. only someone with an ulterior motive will omit it and be contesting ignorantly online.....

if the odometer reading doesn't indicate that the vehicle is bad or worthless like the op is screaming, then why roll it back?

Regarding if the mileage is rolled back or not , you can assume what ever makes you happy until you are ready to find out all the facts you need by doing the proper thing if indeed you want to find out .

You just concluded that non disclosure of odometer reading of up to 300k shouldn't be an oversight and that it is fraudulent on the part of any dealer to have left that out right?
Have you contacted me for details of any cars I put up here for sale and I failed to get the info you needed to make your purchase decisions. This forum is an avenue for dealers to create awareness of cars they have for sale to the general public of Nairaland. It is the duty of the buyer to contact the seller to request for any info he or she thinks he or she needs. It is equally the buyer who had been swindled or who felt he has been treated in in a dishonest manner after purchase who can complain of such fraud/ dishonesty. Posting and reposting car odometer readings to make it appear as if the seller fraudulently/ dishonesty omitted such info because he knows such will adversely affect his chances of getting potential buyers is itself a hypocritical and therefore the real meaning of DISHONESTY.

By the way, how is 318k mileage on 14 year old car equated to being a bad and useless car? Kindly furnish me with specialist citations/ sources.
