She is just 16years old going to SS3 now. She is so pretty that every guy wants to date her even some of my mates do admire her but I know the mind of guys, she is too young they just want to have their way with her.
I used to be strict with her before, seize her phone, beats her up whenever she talks with any guy but my friends told me I don't need to do that, they adviced me to sit her down and talk with her.
Now I don't even know where to start with her, what kind of advice to give.

I didn't want to comment initially because i didn't want to come across as self-righteous but i have to because to not do so is to stand aside & not publicize the grace of God & power of the cross that weaned me off this addiction & keeps me away from it everyday. It wasn't & isn't by my power, will or might because i am a weak, wretched man but solely by God's grace that i was delivered from that sin. The day i stop leaning on God's ever abundant grace & strength, i would fall but that shall not be my portion in Jesus' name. You say masturbation isn't a sin? Ask yourself, what drives 1 to masturbate? Isn't it lust for the opposite sex? Isn't lust of the flesh? Are we as followers of Christ supposed to walk in the flesh or in the Spirit (romans 8:1,6)? Study Galatians 5:16-23. The works of the flesh is juxtaposed with the fruits of the Spirit. Was masturbation listed as 1 of the fruits we are called to bring forth? Wasn't it Jesus who said that lusting after the opposite sex is adultery/fornication (Matt 5:28)? The urge to have carnal knowledge burns in our members & because we can't slake it that moment or because of convinience, we decide to touch our bodies so as to achieve gratification. Isn't that us defiling our bodies? Isn't it written that our bodies are the temple of God & a judgement of destruction awaits whoever defiles his body? Saying masturbation is natural might be true for a carnal man because he is ruled by the desires of the flesh but we that are Christ's have crucified the flesh & its lusts thereof. Therefore any Christian in heart & act not just in mouth mortifies his body through the Spirit, bringing it & its desires under subjection because to be subject to the desires of the flesh leads to death & corruption (1cor 9:27, rom 8:13, rom 8:6, galatians 6: . Be not deceived, whatever 1 can't do without has power over 1 & 1 is a servants to what has power over 1 (romans 6:16). That's the reason why it seems so difficult to stop masturbation hence the rationalization of it as normal & something 1 can't just stop is deployed to assuage the guilt that comes from it. The only way out is a total surrender to God because we can of our own do nothing. We need to deny ourselves, pick up our cross & follow Jesus every moment of our lives & be crucified with Him (galatians 2:20).Prayer, Spirit - led bible study & fasting is needed. The Holy Spirit then teaches us how to crucify the flesh and die to self (the womb & root of all sins). This is a continuous process & can sometimes be painful but He would always avail perseverance to us. The peace of Christ Jesus abide with you.

2 corinthians 6:20 says: For ye were bought with a price, glorify then, God with your body and Spirit which are God's. How does masturbation fufil that scripture? Don't try to justify sin please.

Before i begin, i'ld like to let you all know i was once a victim of a very bad addiction, precisely masturbation. I masturbated for almost 5 years before finally, i got set free from that shackle of sin. Believe me when i say i thought i could never let go of that unholy habit as i would literally masturbate about 10 times daily. There was no porn site i didn't know of, porn dvd's i had as many not until i finally broke out of the habit.

How did i become free?

Many times i cried to God for help but at a later time i'll find myself back to my puke. I was depressed, angry and even suffered inferiority complex due to this habit but thank God for Grace. I gave my life to Christ early 2016 and have taken it back countlessly not until this year i decided to put all my focus on him and build a personal relationship with the HolySpirit as he is our (belivers) greatest advantage. You will agree with me that when you put all focus on something, you will find out other stuffs become irrelevant. I became steady in my prayer, church and spiritual life, always making positive confessions about myself everyday. I wake up and say to myself; Sin has no power over me i'm the righteousness of Christ Jesus and frankly speaking, i've taken God seriously and i discovered i've totally forgotten i was a chronic masturbator not to talk of how to masturbate only because i put all focus on God, the one who gives us rest. Those who indulge in such habit not just masturbation but many others like smoking, drug addiction, promiscuity and many more i'll urge you to make God your focus and the HolySpirit your best companion and if you do this with all sincerity, i can vow that you won't know when that bad habit will drop off. You must not go for any laying of hands to be made free. Why die when you can live? May the good Lord strengthen you all, Amen.
