Phones › Re: Tecno Megapad 11 Vs Infinix Xpad 20 Pro: Which One Truly Deserves Your Money? by Cheezzyy: 7:42pm On Nov 10, 2025 |
Lizface: This post has a wrong edge to it. I think people underrate Tecno’s Megapad 11 because they assume “affordable” means “basic.” It’s not. Tecno didn’t build the Megapad to compete for spec bragging rights; they built it to meet specific users’ needs. It’s lightweight, has solid battery life and runs smoothly for daily tasks or creative work without costing as much as a full laptop. What makes it impressive is how it balances performance and practicality. You’re not overpaying for specs you’ll barely use, yet you’re getting a tablet that can keep up with study, work, entertainment and everything in between. For me, that's a smart choice. finally someone said! This Tecno Megapad is so underrated |

Phones › Re: Why Do Nigerians Hardly Try New Smartphone Brands? by Cheezzyy: 2:28pm On Oct 09, 2025 |
aquarius15febb: If we’re being real, Nigerians dey love familiar brands. When it comes to phones, na TECNO, Infinix, iPhone and Samsung wey dey reign.
But worldwide, other brands dey trend big time.... like realme, Oppo, Vivo. For example, realme dey ship millions of units every year in Asia and Europe. Same specs wey Redmi dey offer, realme dey give too, sometimes even cheaper.
So the question be:
Why we dey always stick to only the popular brands?
Na lack of awareness?
Na fear of “unknown” brands?
Or na just say we no wan take risk?
Who here don try one of these “newer” brands before? Share your experience make we reason am. fear of unknown, let me just stick to my Tecno in peace, if I want to explore, I’d try iPhone |

DannyEze: Yes Realme really has come to stay. I once attended the launch of Realme C50 or so at Lekki Phase 1. I remember testing the Phone there. It was so good.
However, I've been using TECNO for a while and I must say that while Realme is really coming up, TECNO has gone far ahead. They have a lot to do to catch up with TECNO.
TECNO has been in the game for a long time and so they're the Baba currently.
I'm a die hard of TECNO and will continue to be even while I also love for other brands to keep growing too Tecno is leading no doubt, let’s see how fast Realme can catch up, fingers crossed |

Graced4u: Pop 8 is a good one...I remember someone that used it back then in the University. It was actually a very good entry level Android phone. Well worth the price. TECNO did well there.
Pop series now have grown and taken a leap to become a very good series. Take a look at the latest Pop 10 Pro. See the specs, features, battery, Camera, Screen, IP rating, and Storage sef I can recommend any pop series. They are good, based on experience |
