Hahaha I knew Airmark would have a field day here. I have to admit Boateng had an average game by His standard today. Having said that, He remains Germany's best Centre Back as was evident during His time on the pitch today.
The Germans are simply going through what all the Big Boys are experiencing. It's hard to crack a well drilled, organised and disciplined wall of 10 players. The only one team that has done well thus far is Belgium and that's simply because their 2 games were against Panama and a Tunisian team that had no choice than to attack. |

I saw this set up and I knew as long as we dont concede foolishly we stand a good chance
Now it has happened. All we need is to stay focused in defence Brahhh that's exactly what we were just saying. If you stay compact and don't concede, you have a chance. |

Nihilstjnr: Eder scorer of the winning goal for Portugal against France
[Ronaldo] told me I would score the winning goal for the team," Eder said. "He gave me this strength, this energy and it was vital.”
Eder could barely have been a more unlikely hero. He had played just a handful of minutes throughout the tournament, and boasted a modest record of just three goals in 28 international appearances heading into the tournament decider.
“Ever since [coach] Fernando Santos called me up,” said Eder when asked if he ever expected such a big moment to come. “He knows what my capabilities are and so does our group.
"They trust me and I have worked hard to contribute and today it was possible. I'm very happy about what we've achieved.
"We went through a difficult spell after [Cristiano] Ronaldo's injury, because he's the best player in the world and an important player for us. But after that he still gave us all his strength and bravery, and we got this important victory, both for him and all of Portugal. LOAD OF TOSH!....Bravery and strength no concern me nah wetin hin do for pitch be my concern. |

Lana1: Yes. Yes. Why remind us of his brace against Hungary that saw Portugal narrowly make it out of the group stage or his goal against Wales in the Semifinal when u can remind us of how he didn't play in Final!! May I also remind you Nani scored the only vs Iceland a game they would have lost had me not scored. May I also remind you He Nani scored the vital equalizer vs Hungary. Lastly lest you forget, maybI remind you that it was Nani that scored the crucial 2nd goal at a time Wales were coming on strong. |

Nihilstjnr: how did they win without him?
did he not play all the games?
was he not on the touchline cheering them on?
was he not their highest goal scorer in the tournament?
did he not score crucial goals at knock out stage to get them into the final? Nani and Ronaldo were actually their Top Joint scorers so it wasn't just Ronaldo. LMAO @ cheering them on. I had as much impact in the finals as Ronaldo as I was also in my sitting room cheering them on. |
