Labour party has no base in Edo.
Most people that voted for Peter Obi were more of PDP members who just want power to come back to the south without necessarily supporting APC so they settled for peter Obi.
But now peter Obi can't win Edo in any election again because of his betrayal for the people by supporting Olumide Akpata who is a Benin man to take over from Obaseki another Bini man against the principle of fairness, equity and justice which was why people supported him.

In case you don't why we say Edo is not Lagos, it is because Edo people are independent minded. Nobody desides the destiny of the Edo people. They know what is good for them and they go for it.
In Edo state, there is nothing like Baba Sope.
