1. Recognize that God has created you for a close friendship with Himself.By design, the way you hear best from God is in the context of a friendship with Him. God intends for you to figure out His will freely and intelligently as you engage in regular conversations with Him. God’s will is to be personally present with you and speaking with you moment by moment as you go through life. Then you’ll grow to understand Him more and become more like His Son, Jesus. 2. Consider your motives for wanting to hear from God.Honestly reflect on why you want to hear from God. Is it because you’re truly open to whatever God has to say and committed to putting His guidance into action and fulfilling His purposes, even when doing so is challenging? Or is it for a selfish reason, such as wanting to feel righteous or comforted? Confess and repent of any wrong motives. Ask God to give you an openness to hear and respond faithfully to what He wants to tell you. 3. Make your goal more than just hearing God.While it’s important to hear from God, that shouldn’t be your ultimate goal. Instead, make your main goal to become a spiritually mature person in a close relationship with God. That’s the only way you’ll clearly and correctly hear what God has to say to you. 4. Know that you’re important to God, but be humble.Have the confidence that God is willing to speak to you just as powerfully as He did to the people in the bible, because He values you just as much. However, don’t let pride creep into your soul, because you must be humble in order to faithfully receive and respond the messages God has for you. 5. Don’t try to force God to tell you something. No matter how much you want to hear from God about something or how hard you may try to convince Him to speak to you, you’ll only hear from God when He chooses to communicate with you. Focus on developing a respectful relationship with God and wait for His timing to deliver messages to you. Also, if God chooses not to give you specific guidance about something you’ve prayed about and what you’re considering is within the Bible’s moral principles, you can confidently go ahead and make your own decision about what to do and be within God’s will. 6. Recognize that God communicates in many forms, but most often through your mind.God may choose any one of many different ways to communicate to you, according to what’s best at particular times and in particular circumstances. You may sometimes hear God’s message in dramatic ways, such as through angels, visions, or miraculous events. But more often, you’ll hear God speaking through your thoughts, and He will use ordinary practices such as reading the Bible, praying quietly, learning from circumstances, or seeking counsel from other Christians to reach out to you as you think about them. God will use dramatic means to get your attention when necessary, but His goal is for you to be so closely connected to Him that you’ll pay attention whenever He speaks to you. Usually, God speaks through what people have described as a “still, small voice” to encourage those He loves to choose to keep walking closely with Him through life. 7. Renew your mind. Since God often speaks to you through your mind and wants you to develop what the Bible calls the “mind of Christ” (the ability to make decisions as Jesus would), it’s crucial for you to follow the Bible’s urging in romans 12 vs 2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but but be tran the renewal of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.” As you invite the Holy Spirit to renew your mind every day, He will cleanse it from such dirt and clutter as false beliefs and attitudes, unhealthy feelings, and misguided plans. Then the Holy Spirit will replace all of that with true thoughts that reflect God’s purposes. 8. Invite the living Word to help you when you read the written word. The Word of God is a living, creative force – Jesus Himself – and He is actively at work when you read God’s written word – the Bible – prayerfully. When you read the Bible, ask Jesus to make the Bible’s words come alive for you and become conduits through which He sends His thoughts, faith, and love into your soul. Then focus on what He sends you and orient yourself toward it so it will begin to transform your life. 9. Recognize God’s voice above all others.By experience, you can learn to recognize God’s voice when He speaks, and to confidently respond to what He says. When thoughts recur, pray about them to discern if they may be coming from God. Keep in mind that God will never send you a message that contradicts the Bible’s principles. Also, God’s voice carries the weight of authority within it, and expresses a spirit of peace, confidence, joy, reasonableness, and goodwill. If you think that God may speaking to you, ask Him to confirm so as you study and meditate on the Bible, as you’re alert to the circumstances you encounter, or as you experience the Holy Spirit’s impressions in your mind. 10. Set aside time regularly to listen for God’s messages. Make a habit of intentionally and expectantly listening for whatever God may want to tell you. It’s more important to become a person who listens regularly to God than it is to constantly ask God to give you guidance. Set aside sometime today to begin listening for God's voice and hearing his promises and plans for you. Keep a journal to remember the things he brings to life in you. source: 1. Popular Ponzi scheme, MMM which packed up in December following the declaration of freeze mode over the December season has returned. The scheme was scheduled to resume on the 14th January, 2017 decided to return today as opposed to tomorrow to reduce panic. Below is the official announcement as seen in the PO of members: We are now open!!! :-)) Dear members, The holidays are over, and we”re now open. Just as promised. (You might have already noticed that we always stick to our promises. :-)) Actually, we promised to be open on January 14, but we”re open now, January 13, as you can see, which is a day earlier. (Well, I hope, the members of the System will forgive us for that. :-)) It”s related to the hysteria raised by the authorities and the mass media around MMM . By joining forces, they”ve managed to nearly give the members of the System a heart attack and have frightened them out of their wits. Poor souls don”t know what to expect. Will we open again or not? :-)) This is why we”ve decided, considering the situation, to reach out to the members, reassure and cheer them up by opening a little earlier. After all, Together We Can Change The World! :-)) Here we go. 1. As of this notice, MMM resumes its usual operation. You can now create your GH-requests. 2. However, it”s obvious that panic will reign in the first few days after the re-opening of the System. We’re likely to be deluged by GH-requests. Therefore, we”re going to make gradual paybacks by setting internal output limits. In other words, we will only pay a certain amount per day. Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal. We”re the ones setting the limits, so it”s completely under our control, and we are not expecting any emergencies in principle. Have no fear and go on about your business as usual. :-)) As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to the members with small PH amounts. The richer can wait. Moreover, we”ve warned you repeatedly to only provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it. :-)) This is the way it”s going to be. Hoping for your kind understanding, Sergey Mavrodi. We Change The World! P. S. I”d like again to call on the authorities and the mass media: Please, leave us alone! Have mercy on people. source : http://www.chiscocity.com.ng/2017/01/breaking-mmm-nigeria-is-back-warns.html

The Redeemed Christian Church of God has said the decision of its General Overseer , Enoch Adeboye , to appoint a national overseer for the church in Nigeria remains unchanged. The church also dismissed insinuations that Adeboye had resigned as the General Overseer of the RCCG . The church ’s Head of Media and Public Relations , Pastor Segun Adegbiji , said this while addressing journalists at Redemption Camp, Mowe, Ogun State, on Thursday. He explained that the plan to have a national or country overseer for the RCCG Nigeria was ongoing before the purported implementation of the now suspended Corporate Governance Code by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria . Adegbiji, who said he was briefing the press on behalf of the leadership of the church , stated that the decision of Adeboye to appoint one of the seven Assistant General Overseers of the church, Pastor Joshua Obayemi , as the Nigeria ’s national overseer was irreversible . He said , “ If you know Daddy GO (Adeboye ) very well , he does not make such an important decision without consulting the Church Council, and most importantly , God . That decision has been made and it does not in any way affect his position as the General Overseer of the RCCG . “ So, there is no need to reverse the decision after the Federal Government has suspended the implementation of the FRC law.” Adeboye had resigned as the head of the church in Nigeria on Saturday, reportedly in compliance with the code. He named Obayemi as the overseer of the church in Nigeria and took on the new title of General Overseer , RCCG , Worldwide. President Muhammadu Buhari reacted on Monday by sacking the Executive Secretary of the FRC , Mr . Jim Obazee . The President had, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity , Garba Shehu, approved the sacking and the replacement of Obazee . The statement also constituted a board for the Council with Mr . Adedotun Sulaiman as chairman and Mr . Daniel Asapokhai as Obazee ’s replacement . The former FRC leadership was said to have disregarded an October 17, 2016, directive by the Minister of Trade , Industry and Investment , Mr . Okechukwu Enelamah, asking for the suspension of the code. But on Thursday , when Adegbiji was asked why the church decided to appoint a country overseer for Nigeria when Adeboye was still in charge, the spokesman explained that RCCG ’s rapid growth and the enormous administrative responsibilities that followed the expansion were some of the reasons for the action. Adegbiji stated , “ The RCCG is a fast-growing church and as of the last count, we are in 192 nations of the world and most of these countries have their national or country overseer. So , there is nothing wrong if Nigeria , which also has the blessing of hosting the world headquarters of the RCCG , has its own national overseer. “ However, this does not , in any way, affect the position of the General Overseer as all other national overseers of the church in other countries report to him . “ He has been and he will continue to perform his role without let or hindrance. So, he (Adeboye ) has never stepped down as the General Overseer of the RCCG .” continue reading they mesagae below http://www.chiscocity.com.ng/2017/01/adeboyes-decision-to-appoint-national.html
