When I recently shared a thread about how impressed I was with the spiritual depth of Bishop Abioye's teachings the first few times I ever heard them, although this particular teaching wasn't among the ones I heard but only a few days old, it perfectly illustrates my point.

The spiritual depth i spoke about with his teachings I heard so far, didn't have to do with his physical I am really very surprised at appearance, oratory skills, eloquence, verve or the tone of his voice or even how appealing his message was to me as many misinterpreted, but about how much his teachings aligned with that of Christ, because Christ teachings which is what He commanded His disciples to teach all men to keep before His departure from the earth (Matthew 28:20), ought to be the standard with which the teaching of any church leader or minister was measured, not what appeals to us or what we want to hear.

So that's what impressed me about David Abioye's teachings the few times I heard them not something else.

For instance this particular teaching is Christlike and the kind of teaching Christ would be teaching if He were Himself, however I have never heard Bishop Oyedepo teaching or expressing such a concern before, despite knowing him since the late 80's and early 90's when he was yet in Kaduna up til now.

I know that he is more obsessed with getting more church members into his church and building bigger church buildings than getting souls into the kingdom of God, as was the case with most prosperity preachers, as is clearly reflected in their teachings, hence even though the church now has become filled and brimming with members than it's ever been in it's history, it's also the church that's made sinners become most comfortable in their sins instead of coming to repentance since the church began.

This is a serious concern I have always had concerning today's church and have shared here and elsewhere times without number, but many spiritually blind Christians have taken that to be an attack on the church, so it's good to see Bishop David Abioye who they view as one of their own also expressing the same concerns about today's church.

It's baffling though that it took his retirement from Oyedepo's church for us to hear such a teaching from him, which makes it seem like a blessing in disguise but just wished it happened much sooner.

Well said...but let me even shock you that marriage is more of partnership like you rightly said, which is more than love in the concept of marriage as originated by God. Being a help meet and complimenting each other in the areas of weaknesses. Any other thing like children, love etc are all other added values of marriage from God. Until man and woman understand this, there will be continuous issues in marriage every now and then.

Marriage is not about children, marriage is about love and partnership between a man and a woman, woman complementing the man in areas he is weak or needs assistance.

Good question, but Peter Obi didn't make this comment, the spokesman who made the comment never mentioned he was speaking on behalf of Peter Obi. But we understand that the paper will sell faster as soon as you say Peter Obi said it. The man is a phenomenon that can increase the force of every business, even dying Nigeria would have received life if Peter Obi was sworn in.

I have never seen such a man as PeterObi, everything he touches turn to gold, and miscreants will rush in the scramble for the crumbs, even taking sides with Apapa and abure to see how to cause mayhem so that Peter Obi won't come out from the party.

It's the loss of the whole Nigeria, not for Peter who is already made foe life.

How many family members wen de quarrel he go fit visit? There are many families where siblings do not see eye to eye, is he now going to request for a list of them and start visiting all of them?
Enyaah...but that is Obi for you. Beautifully enough, he doesn't fake it. If he could stoop so low in giving out his personal number to senior prefects in secondary schools then, visiting people that matter to him is nothing for his kind of person. I and my entire family and friends love him so very much.

If this guy had somehow managed to be president, he would have spent more time trying to keep up appearances than actually facing real issues.

Ok. He has exceeded the maximum allowable age for the Australia skilled migration. The only route for him now is visa 482 job sponsorship. This doesn't actually come that easy though. But there is no wrong in trying.

He can put up application on Australia jobs sites and look for employers to sponsor him.

He can also try and look for those in his occupation who are residing in Australia to recommend him for jobs sponsorship over there. I know of a one man who got sponsored through this process. One of his friends recommended him in his office in Australia, and he was sponsored right from Nigeria on visa 482.

However, if that doesn't work, if you have qualification or experience in a good occupation, and your age is below 45, you can choose to go ahead with the usual migration process while your husband become the dependant.

If all these options fail, if there is funds, then the only route is through study for you, which is the same process OP use for his wife whom he later joined. Try and discuss these with your hubby first so you guys can put heads to together. Nothing is impossible!
