Educate yourself, ask questions! Don't just give because one doctor/nurse/midwife or whoever said so. Even immunisation I go to take, you must educate me and tell me how many mls you will administer, essence of the vaccine and possible side effects.

He is taking Ampiclox Beecham, and vitamin c syrup. but the truth is that I don't know why and didn't ask.. 6 hours interval. Was too weak and didn't bother, but the Midwife that delivered my baby is a family and motherly friend, so I totally forgot.

@ Fortius dear, you need to see how my baby slept yesterday after feeding him with formulae, he was so calm and peaceful and am very happy.. he woke up by 3:am this morning and after feeding him he has slept off again; am just waiting to gi ve him his antibiotics drug by 5:am.

@ Mitchy, I can't come and kill myself because of EBF. I really love it, but breastmilk refuse to come for now. My baby was breathing through his stomache, my mum came ysterday and she shout, my mate too.

My baby weighed 4.5kg at birth, so if you see the way he eats sef eh, you go wonder who teach am. Pikin wey head give me tear . Looking at him gives me joy.

Yes am too agitated and worried ooo, my baby is always crying, I don't mind the palmwine at all. Anything for baby, but they said is the undiluted palmwine sha.
My baby started eating from the womb, you need to see the way he sucks anything that enters his mouth even water, we will be laughing at him. if I put the breast and nothing comes out, he will remove his mouth and start crying.

@ esof1, am really sorry about the pains, pls like other mama's suggested, take care of that place to avoid infection, go back to the doctor and find a better solution to it.

@beyedew, I can imagine how you feel sometimes, Controlling MIL hmm, just talk to ur DH and try to convince him, because if you decide to go to ur parents house while DH goes ahead and stays in their family house... Hmm Babe na big wahala ooo... So just talk to him sensibly. Wish u all the best.

I also have an open eye MIL but my DH knows his mum so much and he is the stubborn type, so she don't come to our house to do her open eye, but she does that to her 1st son. The wife is always complaining whenever I visit her.

Out of 30blessed mamas,12 deliveries recorded nd 18mamas to go in 18days,it is already settled in heaven,may God it easier for us all,dnt forget to pack and recheck ur hospital items,make provisions for Pap cuz u will need it after delivery,if u can get a good source,let d person mak large quantity for u to avoid buyin frm hawkers,i guess u av already clean d house for ur precious arrival too,for d yorubas..shey e ti n prepare fun ikomo(naming),pls dnt exhaust ur purse cuz d economy is nt stable now,just do wat u can cuz pple go still complain abt d jollofrice wey no sweet cut ur coat accordin to ur cloth ni o,it is well wt our homes.

I wish us all easy labor and safe delivery!!! No more loss. Baby and mother must come out and stay alive.

Am still present ooo, I have enter 40 weeks, I went for check up today and the matron did that vagina examination, she said my baby is fully matured but Labour has not started yet.. That I should wait till I start feeling Labour pains..
I have decided to remove my mind from there, cos I think about it too much these days.. I was telling the matron that maybe I would have a painless Labour, because i hardly have that menstrual cramp pain, even if I do it doesn't last.. Pls is it possible to have a painless Labour.

Pls mama's help me.
