Lagos alone has a budget less than 3 trillion naira, or about 2 billion dollars. Lagos is the same size as New York city. New York spends 10 billion dollars on the city police alone. 10 billion.

Our budget self...if we divide it among the 230 million nigerians...it can give us about 300000 naira for one year per nigerian. For one year, not monthly

As for the money given to governors, that was enough to pay salaries on time. It isn't enough for anything else. Subsidy removal removed pressure on our already limited revenue. Or to put it this way, it improved available revenue, but it did not increase overall revenue.

Thats why governors are not doing much. They have gone from struggling to pay salaries, to just being able to afford to pay salaries on time. If the NLC decides to really go on strike to force an increase in salaries, whala go start. The high prices of oil and the knock on effect is not helping matters.

It does not matter who is president, if ya think that 68 trillion is enough for nigeria, you are in dreamland. That is why tinubu must listen to IMF, or our economy will be worsening

And don't tell me wait till second term. Una think say the potential successors go allow tinubu to do hard touch in second term that will harm their chances?

Seriously, APC is not facing reality, since 2015.
