2. His first moniker drisklef should be re-opened because this headline says drisklef and not drisklef001 or drisklef002. Let drisklef defend drisklef.

In future, users may not get to read disklef2222 messages with a search on drisklef. And the worst proposal by this mod is that drisklef should use another moniker to defend itself, and then deletes the new moniker. Then everything in the new moniker becomes "nobody" except when quoted. Is this not a crazy suggestion? You want him to wear mask when he is defending himself? And then, it gets to where defence post is and it shows "nobody". Does it make sense? Anyone who is new to nairaland might wonder who is nobody. Why is nobody defending drisklef? And then, the conclusion still is drisklef is a fraud.

Let drisklef defend drisklef. Is this hard for this mod to do? Release the moniker. Contact the drisklef guy, give him a deadline. If he starts cursing again, ignore it, and face the real business of nailing him. If he is smart, he will return..if he is not, the mod writes a summary of the of the whole incident that since he was given so, so, and so timeframe, and he refuses to come defend himself, he is guilty as charged. If he is already using another moniker on nairaland, it means scamming will continue. I know it is hard to control. Sure, we can only encourage big boss Seun to see if such issue can be checked. Once you put this info online, it takes minimum of 6 months before google, yahoo, askme etc delete it finally from their system if nairaland decides to remove it. Within that timeframe let us say the innocent man appears for a visa or job interview, what do you think is going to happen when the visa officer checks the guy up online? Do you think he has time to read details? Its the summary that will be used. Is this ok?

Finally, I am confused with the Rule 19. To you it is easy to say that he should open another moniker. But we have rules here on nairaland. What if the guy says that he reads Rule 19, and it seems that is the reason he is being banned cos it says that one must not open a new moniker. This mod killed the story. You see that the useless kid has gone free. He has simply used nairaland rule 19 to nail this mod. This mod has no case. She has lost this case. Can you not see? It is the rule of nairaland this guy will use to nail this mod.

Do you think any judge is going to listen to rants here? The judge reads rule 19 and he says hmmmmmm. If you ask members not to open a new moniker after banning an original moniker, and you refused to release the initial moniker, how do you want him to defend himself? Abi na me write rule 19 ni?

Way Forward:
Let nairaland release his original moniker. Let OP be instructed to contact him, mod also should contact him to come tell his story. I am not his friend, and I cannot contact him. Anyone who knows him and likes him before he destroys himself should contact him to come defend himself. Then after, the mod can reach a good judgement. He should be giving a time frame again. If he refuses to come online, then, he is guilty as charged. Whatsoever he meets in the future is his cup of tea. But let nairaland release his original moniker so he can defend himself.

Note: he can be banned again even he is innocent after coming online. Or maybe permanent expulsion. Yes, he acted stupidly. However, it is paramount we hear his story by releasing his original moniker temporarily.
