they have none. It's just a Marketing ploy they use. They didn't go for the deal cos it's not favourable to them that's all. No FTA Station currently that can give their type of quality service. other private Channels do Free to Air also. They get their Money from Adverts during the Broadcast. It's stated there that U can watch from their affiliate FTA stations

Probably the fees was too high and Multi choice refused to pay cos they couldn't get a good enough profit Margin on that deal. Or it could be that they are trying to promote their affiliate Business which is doing Free to air and help dem get enough Subscribers with AFCON..
