iamawinner22: For those that think that Jamb is the end... IjMB has a better offer for you to gain admission into 200 level directly.

But they have accredited centres in Nigeria. And also there are private centres who are affiliated to the accredited centers.

At the private center the program is 9 months.. When you finish the program, you will gain admission directly into 200 level in one of the 15 universities that allow IJMB as direct Entry...

Over the years, student. Has been using IJMB as an alternative to gain admission..
Last year more than 70% of our student in our center gain admission into Uniabuja, Unilorin, Benue, Ahmadu bello and others..

People will complain IJMB is hard, but students do it and with there commitment and our assistance they make good points and gain admission. IJMB is real and a good alternative for those who wants admission into a university..

Women and Children constitute a significant proportion of the population of Abia State. our development programmes cannot be complete without addressing the issues of gender inequality or under representation of vulnerable groups in the decision/ policy making process.

However Abia has focused their attension towards the establishment of target projects that are especially gender specific, with outlined policies as envisaged in both Abia State Economic Empowerment and Development Goals (MDGs).

This Administration has recognized the great potentials in women, in decision/policy making. To this end, they have ensured adequate representation of women at all levels of government. Government has collaborated with the Local Government Councils to build Skill Acquisition Centers in the areas where there are none at present to empower more women, especially in the rural areas.

This administration has also established Day Care Centers to aid Abia working mothers and also capacity building and training of more than 400 women in various skill areas.
Government will continue to sensitize over 50,000 women on issues of Child Rights, HIV/AIDS and discrimination against women.

Government has provided Micro-Credit to skilled graduates and encourage boy and girl education as well as join hands with all relevant authorities in the fight against women and child trafficking. we shall strengthen measures already put in place to check boy and girl drop out syndrome among our youths as well as cultism and drug abuse.

Government also has regards for youths and their role in the Socio-Economic Development of the state. This Administration has committed to train youths in skill acquisition and to check the endangering problems of unemployment among youths, sensitization/awareness campaign on HIV/AIDS pandemic among youths and children through social institution, this administration shall ensure that this efforts is sustained.

Government has committed to giving a sense of bellonging and proffer solution to their problems. To this end, the government has a mandate to empower the youths, to ensure proper harnessing of their potentials, energy and aspirations for the development of the state.

Furthermore, this Administration has made effort to create jobs, stop crimes, restiveness and other vices among youths, and thereby leaving them with new- orientation.

This Administration has boldly confronted the factors that have held us down as a state and we are unrelenting in the determination to ensure that by the time we conclude our tour of duty, our names would have been firmly etched in gold in the minds of our people.
