Bahamas95: 2. Walking in-between two persons = Nigerians see it as a bad omen, immediately they see you approaching them they'll quickly cover the space to avoid it. If you take them unwares they'll call you back and ask you to walk back to break the spell.
I see this particular one as disrespect and disorganising not as superstition.
Nnamdipapa: There is nothing like struggling to raise kids when you are financially and emotionally mature. The people who struggle to raise kids are those who married early or those who chose to have many kids.
The secret formula is to marry late and have one kid.
Your piece is amazing but this one tends to hit the the point.
A lot of youngsters just want to marry without proper plan in place (it doesn't mean that plans workout all the time) but you see nothing annoys me more than seeing a struggling family that's only committed to breeding kids
AngelSlay: Hepatitis refers to inflammation of the liver, usually caused by viral infections, but it can also result from alcohol use, certain medications, toxins, or autoimmune diseases. There are several types of viral hepatitis, each with different causes and effects:
Types of Hepatitis:
1. Hepatitis A (HAV):
Cause: Eating food or drinking water contaminated with feces from an infected person.
Transmission: Fecal-oral route.
Severity: Acute (short-term); doesn't lead to chronic liver disease.
Prevention: Vaccine, good hygiene, clean water.
Recovery: Most people recover fully.
2. Hepatitis B (HBV): Cause: Virus spread through blood, semen, or other bodily fluids.
Transmission: Unprotected sex, sharing needles, mother-to-child at birth.
There's nothing like hunger in the land but rather wickedness in the land since the government lack the sense of eradicating it but instead capitalising on the negligence of the poor to divert funds into needles upgrading of government buildings and procurement of high taste vehicles.
Jaycobbs: I feel you, though. I struggled with people's opinions of me for decades. But it's a process. It doesn't happen all at once, though there'll be notable milestones where you worry less and about what people think about you.
You're darn right about this milestone of a thing. Once you get to that level you people's opinion means less to you.
In addition I'd say find a goal a worthy purpose like a career or training that will help you commit to yourself more
naptu2: Sir Dauda Jawara was prime minister of Gambia from independence in 1962 till 1970 (Queen Elizabeth II was head of state). He became president of Gambia in 1970.
Gambians took to social media to mourn and thank President Buhari when they heard of his (Buhari's) death.
I really love this brain refreshing you added to help some of us connect the dots.
Kayberg: Who keeps a python as a pet here in Nigeria? Or am I not reading this well?
Men with wealthy can keep the unthinkable animal as pets irrespective of race. When you have they have the money they start thinking of unimaginable ways to spend it.
immortalcrown: A former president was buried and no president from another country attended the burial? Something is fishy here.
Nothing is fishy given the funeral ways of the deceased faith. You don't expect those heads of states to show up on impromptu notice like they've got nothing doing. Moreover his just another former president
Judolisco: Dem dey waste their time.... When the time comes to pick the president and saintsamin Atiku shares dollars for all d delegates, na dat time obi eyes go open.... But e go Don late
The adage is right, money is actually not everything with emphasis on EVERYTHING.
For example in the Human system, the respiratory system is not EVERYTHING about the body but surely it's something that the body cannot do without, same applies to other systems of the body.
You maybe seeing money as everything only because you do not stash them, but once you do that you'll be faced with another whole challenge that money will not flash in the option.
I believe only good health and peace of mind is everything.
meobizy: Na monarchy or dictatorship? This isn’t funny again. What can he offer the country in the new tenure that he couldn’t achieve for forty years?
Word Funny thing he'll emerge victorious thereafter.
ubest1: Russian greatest mistake was starting Ukraine war, their military flexibility gone, war tactics gone manpower/logistic gone. Russian should learn from America they either uses their foreign bases to fight war or allied not directly from home soil
What do you do when the fight is brought to your doorstep 🤔
Even though he is a real niggar but a real niggar most know when to talk and refrain from talking.
Putin doesn't talk much! U strike without letting ur enemy knows. Trump should stop talking like a grown baby boy and act
It's like you're not getting the war updates because the rate Putin has been talking is sure sign that something big is coming if America should enter this war
He better be ready to be heal in that prayer house when next he is sick.
As for those of you saying there maybe lack of manpower and equipment to run the hospital, is it not in his place to train his subjects for the betterment of his community.
Fiscus105: You guys would sit down in one corner of your room and be conderming and attacking every govt policy and promulgation
Are you just knowing this in on this forum. From North to South any policy made by their governors will always have *some* nuts spewing trash over it. Honestly, rational thinking is not rational for some people.
kingbee90: That woman might be exaggerating the whole issue. Smoke from 'Igbo' cannot disturb someone in the next apartment to the point of chocking. When no be motor exhaust smoke. Maybe she has beef with her neighbor & wants to implicate him.
NDLEA should leave that innocent man alone. Pressure from this Bulaba Gov. don turn many people to stoners.
