Did this happen in 2008? huh

I wouldn't think so. Don't remember such.

But I think the 'FTC' thing is just so dumb, boring and too outdated.

It's a goddamn cyberworld and some people still can't tone down their juvenile tendencies.

I mean, 'FTC', 'Diariz God', 'I live in France', every damn day?? Seriously??
Oops, i didn't in any way suggest it happened in 2008. I was only saying i have been around for a while to know what am talking about is for real.

It's time to be very analytical.
There are many reasons that could make a lady utter such statement.

1. External pressure: Maybe someone is selling her the idea that she should get settled. It may be her parent(s) or friend(s). Alternatively, her friends may be getting married en masse. Finally, a suitor or suitors have been making her believe she is due, and she is letting you know she is considering that option, even if it's not you.

2. She may not be seeing a future with you. Hence, that statement is a way of reinforcing her belief that you will be there for her or trying to let you know she wants something real than what you both are in.

Either ways, this is a signal that something isn't normal for her in that relationship anymore. She may be ready to advance into the next stage of life, with or without you.

I believe you have two options, both of which you can negotiate after having a talk with her. First, try to find out her reason for wanting to take the next step. You have to do this as a friend, not a jealous lover.

If she's doing it under pressure, remind her that people tend to make grave relationship mistakes whenever they are willing to thaw under pressure. Rather, she must take all the pressure away and see what she wants for herself clearly.

Your two options are to marry he or to let her go, if you can ascertain that she really feels the need to get settled soonest. You know, a woman's mind holds a lot of secrets and reasons for every single action they take or are willing to take. No need acting like you know it all, for in truth, men do not actually weigh over issues as deeply as women do.

If you're ready, you marry her as long as she'll make you proud of that decision.

If you're not ready, ask her to be patient only if you want the relationship. Else, you can tell her you aren't ready or considering that option anytime soon.

But leave out begging in any case. Let her make her decision from then on, so you do not get blamed for a wrong act
Thanks a million my man for taking time to walk me through all this. I appreciate it.

Acting on your advice, i have resolved to ask her over this weekend and have a heart-to-heart chat with her.

She's an epitome of beauty...in her final year in the University.

We have been friends for about six months now...without so much close contact yet.

Last week, her call came. And she spoke up like she has never done before...

"I want to get married. I am sick and tired of remaining a virgin."

To say the least, those words sounded like a bomb blast in my ear...and the echoe continues!

Yes, i am ripe for marriage...but i am still confused about the whole thing.

Please, who else has had a similar experience? How did you handle it? Nairalanders, i need your opinions and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Writing for profit is a serious and good business that may not make you so much money in the beginning. But that is bound to make you stupendous income at the long run.

If this article were to be a post on make $1000 online while asleep, so many folks would have jumped at it. Stop chasing shinny money-making opportunities. 98% of them are scam.

If you can write simple and clear English sentences, then you can write a SMALL but USEFUL BOOK that may turn your financial situation round.

More signs...

8. They are only moved by your presence. They only show you concern when you are with them. The moment you turn your back against them, they drop everything about you. Evidently, that is a make-believe love. You shouldn't take such people seriously. They are actors...and run their life on pretense. They will move the moment they have enough of you and leave you heart-broken. Unfortunately, this kind of folks are hard to spot, especially with their excellent acting and sugar-coated lips. But you can always identify them the moment you discover that they only put up such excellent performance only when you are there, and, of course, often to get you do certain things for them. Wise up, friend!

@amakastarstella, that is a clear indication to say you are just like a spare tyre to him...whom he often comes around to inspect if you are still laying there where he kept...for want of space in the living room.

Is that the kind of treatment you want for yourself? I doubt so. If we get informed and smart about matters like this, we will then be able to stay away from such toxic partners.

Face your study or career, be prayerful and open up for friendship, at the appropriate time, the right lady will come. Everybody want to associate with success.

Over 100 views so far and no one has aired his or her opinion about this subject.

Meanwhile, this is the most sensitive of all relationship affairs. We need to know, we need to be informed about this matter.

I did not come up with this because i already know it all. Nope. I love to share. I love to learn.

We need to come forth and talk about this, learn from each and be better for it.

Please be the first to comment. Your personal experience could be a lifeline to someone else out there.

Thanks in advance.

Romance7 Signs To Know A Man Or Woman Doesn't Love You! by cj4someone(op):
It is an error to remain with or contract a marriage relationship with a man or woman who doesn't genuinely care about you.

How then do you know when he or she truly cares? I will talk about characteristics that men and women display when they don't genuinely love their partners, and when they do love you, they do the opposite.

Here they are:

1. First, they feel uneasy and uncomfortable to identify with you in the public. They only feel relaxed with you when they are with you ALONE in a CLOSET.

2. They feel reluctant to introduce you to their friends. A guy or gal who goes about introducing you to their friends is already making little committment to you by that gesture. The implication of that is they are telling their buddies, hey...i have got a precious stone here in whom i am well pleased. It shows they boast about you.

3. They won't bring you home to meet with their brothers, sisters, and parents. Getting you to meet these guys mentioned is a greater committment. There's no game playing with this gesture. Of course, unless your partner is insane.

4. They talk down on you and make you feel inferior every time. They suggest in their behaviour and words that you are not of their standard.

5. When you call them on phone, they don't pick your calls at once. Even if you called fifteen times, they won't call back when they see your missed calls. That suggests that you are a bore to them.

6. They are not interested in the welfare of your family members. A relationship that survives goes beyond the two people involved. In fact, you are an extension of your family...what affects them, affects you too. If they don't care one bit about your family, then they don't really care about you. Please, open your eyes widely and see the point here.

7. They don't care about your career. It was Tim LaHaye, author of the book, Why You Act the Way You Do, who said that next to salvation, the next most important thing in life is your career, job and vocation (I am paraphrasing). If they are not supportive of what you do or want to do with you life, please think twice.

***

Friends, what do you think of these points, which do you agree or disagree with, which have you seen at play in your partners? Share your opinions with us here. Lets learn from you.
BusinessRe: The Business Of Writing (part 1) by cj4someone(op): 2:08am On Nov 12, 2014
I understand that not everybody is cut out for writing. To rephrase that not everyone has got the capacity, the interest or passion for writing.

For example, i have observed that i wouldn't like to do music. Reason being: that music doesn't occupy the centre stage of my heart.

Basically, i have discovered that i am drawn more to learning, teaching and education in general than to entertainment.

While i may dance (or rather nod because i'm not a good dancer) to the rhythm of beautifully sung songs, it does not qualify me to want to do music.

Now, let me make a point here: you can do anything you have set your heart and mind squarely on. But there are things that you already have the natural make-up or some deep-rooted inclination for. And those are the things you should go for.

Most folks in the "spirit of hustling," dabble into any and everything that promises good fortunes. While they may enjoy some strokes of luck along the line, they usually don't last doing such things.

I guess that explains why we see some Nigerian artists who have come up with wonderful songs, and when you start asking for more from them, they disappear into thin air while the die-hards who are hanging on continue to dish out nonsensical songs to the public.

Sorry! I digressed and took you on a long walk but to make a vital point. I hope you are familiar with that picture i just created?

So all in all, i have two questions for you. One is, are you cut out for writing? If you are not, please consider telling us why. Someone might just pick out something from your story.

Two, if yes, what's stopping you? Say your mind here and let's respond to it collectively.

Waiting...

with hidden hate.
Scared of being outkast, afraid of
common fate.
Today is build on tragedies which no one want's to face.
Nightmares to humanity and morally disgraced.
Tonight is filled with Rage, violence in the air.
Children bred with ruthlessness cause no one at home cares.
Tonight I lay my head down but the pressure never stops,
knowing that my sanity content when I'm droped.
But tomorrow I see change, a chance to build a new,
build on spirit intent of heart and ideas based on truth.
Tomorrow I wake with second wind and strong because of pride.
I know I fought with all my heart to keep the dream alive.

“ Since we all came from a women, got our name from a women, and ourgame from a women.

I wonder why we take from women, why we rape our
women, do we hate our women?

I think its time we killed for our women, be realto our women, try to heal our women, cus if we dont we'll have a race of babies that will hate the ladies, who make the babies.

And since a man can't make one he has no right to tell a women when and where to create one.

“Sometimes when I'm alone
I Cry,
Cause I am on my own.
The tears I cry are bitter and warm.
They flow with life but take no form
I Cry because my heart is torn.
I find it difficult to carry on.
If I had an ear to confide in,
I would cry among my treasured friend,
but who do you know that stops that long,
to help another carry on.
The world moves fast and it would rather pass by.
Then to stop and see what makes one cry,
so painful and sad.
And sometimes...
I Cry and no one cares about why.

Waoh, finally on FP. When Seunwen2 and Donstevico first suggestd it, i took it lightly. But its now a reality.

In fact, i have learnt so much from the comments so far. Pls, let the comments keep rolling in.
