I just wonder if crime is what these guys worship.

Two Developers were defending crime in an hotel I stayed in Benin and I just tire.
They even said it is an abomination to go village empty handed at the end of the year.

That, it is the village elders that will call that person out openly in the village and humiliate him.

I told these guys that, that alone encourages Crime, and they both shouted me down. They claim it is to ginger the person to do better when next he goes back to Obodo Lagos (Their Europe, )

I only see a grown man indirectly admitting to the fact that he's a pedophile... Even his daughters aren't safe around him, because there's definitely nothing wrong with how these children are dressed... I've watched two traditional Nigerian movies before and the girls' native attires were always revealing, I didn't see anything wrong with it because that's part of their culture.
