Agriculture is the most important and prolific sector that gives great boost to a countries economy’s Nigeria is unarguably rich in its Agricultural sector and yet it not much attention has been given to this sector unlike the Oil sector of the country which has been the area of focus because of the income/revenue it yields for the economy. This is reason why Clevenard Global International Limited is bringing or emerging this initiative program that is strictly for Farmers. For you to be a part of this program, you must be a farmer and should have an area or specification on products you are producing.

Our Aim is to ensure that all Nigerian home grown farm foods, are packaged, distributed, exported out of the country for consumption purpose. We are dedicated to improving the economy of the country, using the importance of our Agriculture products and creating a global market to trade in. Nigeria is blessed with a good and fertile organic soil that gives so many nutrients to its crops, and we are here to ensure that your harvest products are not a waste, we are here to ensure and give your farming business continuity, we are here to encourage the youth on the importance and benefits from Agricultural farming... For instance, Cocoa and groundnuts were Nigeria's two major exports until petroleum surpassed both in 1965. Cocoa, cotton, groundnuts, oil palm products, and rubber were the principal export crops in the 1960s and early 1970s, but with export reorientation, only cocoa remained of any importance after 1975. Although Nigeria was the world's largest exporter of groundnuts in the early 1970s, groundnuts fell from the export list by the end of the 1970s as a result of the severe Sahel drought of 1972-74 and a viral disease in 1975. With assistance from the World Bank, the government restored cocoa production in the late 1970s and 1980s through replanting programs and producer price supports. The resulting increase in cocoa output (to 200,000 tons in 1988) kept Nigeria in third place among world cocoa producers, after Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Agriculture, for decades, had been associated with the production of basic food crops. Agriculture and farming were synonymous so long as farming was not commercialized. But as the process of economic development accelerated, many more other occupations allied to farming came to be recognized as a part of agriculture.

We are welcoming all farmers to join us in CLEVELAND AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. This program is mainly for farmers that want to sell their farm foods produce for export and to improve the sales of Nigerian farm food produced by local farmers abroad.
