Bigboytinz:I don't know if you are slow or you just lack exposure? If a loaf of bread is to expire tomorrow, does it expire by 12 midnight or can you still use it. And I'm sure that with the way people are hungry in Nigeria they'd rather have subsidized groceries that's about to expire than being in food stampede |
[quote author=Nnamdipapa post=133625189]Water projects in Enugu for example that will benefit more people instead of building useless hotels. If I am the governor, I will turn east to abroad and nobody will want to travel out anymore. I will create state farms for employment and crash food price. I will create state cattle ranch to crash the price meat. I will build amusement parks and collect money for people to come in while hiring more indigenes. I will support laws that will execute drug pushers , ritualists and kidnappers. I have studied the whites closely and can replicate what they have done and I am sure more smarter that ten Nigerian governors combined together [quote]Stop taking up space. Which one have you done now. 'I will this I will do that'. Smarter than 10 governors combined yet you have no evidence. |
mexxy1:Man I wish I saw this your post I wouldn't have bothered responding to the Op. It's obvious that the Op is one of those men who is dominated and thinks with his 3rd leg or worse still is a jobless person looking for validation online |
BonPatrick:I rarely call people names but I'll make an exception here. Oga you're a MUMU. Or rather this you act alone is mumuish in nature. You love someone you don't know, you have no idea whether she's already in a relationship, married, hiv-positive or a lesbian etc. You see say she fine u wan date am. You definitely don't know what the meaning of love is. Most likely that house na your papa house because if not this question no for come from your mouth. |
VULCAN:Tell me you are not from Enugu without telling me you are not from Enugu. It will be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for Apc to win Enugu State. Omo if u know how Enugu associate Apc with bad u go run. It does not matter how good you are or how excellent your cv is, once Enugu people see Apc beside your name, omo dem no go vote for you. Furthermore, with the way the gov is performing there's no opposing person that has a chance at the next election |
Greenlandz:Nah, I'll rate him numero uno for now |
DJInfluence:Better believe it. I lived in the UK for a few years, came back to Nigeria, stayed in lag for 2 years; Abuja for a couple of months and then moved to Enugu. The present Gov is doing an incredible job. We used to have an issue of sit at home with the past government but do you know what Gov Mbah did the first Monday he came into power? He put the army and police with armoured vehicles on Mondays at every major junction; consequently if any fool tried anything illegal, he would be sent to his maker. This alone made people not fearful. But it was not enough because something I've noticed about people of Enugu is that they are quite laid-back, it can be a good and bad thing - bad thing because they can be lazy - he then went around different stores that failed to open on Monday and revoked their papers or closed them for a while. At this, everyone sat up. Today in Enugu there's always activities ongoing everyday. Recently, I saw new police cars installed with surveillance cameras on the hood, I don't think any other state in Nigeria has done this. Roads are being built, not just major roads but roads that are inward. Quite a few other developments are springing up However, I think he can improve in the aspect of creating white collar jobs. This would save individuals with talent and experience leaving the country. For example, if there were available jobs in Enugu that gave me a comfortable pay I may have considered staying back in the country. Consequently, I'll rate him a solid 9/10. |
Ouchbabe:I swear down. Wonders shall never end. A generation where our men dey tie wrapper and tell tales by moonlight and the women dey wear the trouser. Tufiakwa. |
A country that does not take care of its young will end up regretting in its old age just like a parent who fails to take care of the children when they are small will have no one to look after him or her when they grow old. I remember when I was in the UK, I could be broke and yet happy. Sometimes when I had no money, I'd just walk around different classes in my uni and find free food. Basically there was always some sort of event being hosted by various bodies and they would serve sandwiches and tea/coffee. And in most cases it would be remaining. I'll just help myself to quite a lot. Have I forgotten that at the end of every day, most supermarkets used to reduce the price of their groceries that were about to expire the next day or 2 to a fraction of the original price. These things and more help you survive and then thrive in the long run. How many places can you see opportunities in Nigeria for a young man who is not a politician's son. If you are a young Nigerian you are already 2 goals down. If u get money comot this country! |
Ouchbabe:As in.. I don't know how a full grown man will sit down and be making up stories. Tufia |
Mj4199:I rarely reply but when I do it has to be important. Brother do this: Call her and sit her down, maybe u guys can go for a meal but you need to talk to her. Tell her babe, I know I am not where I am supposed to be and it's affecting you. I know as a result of my present situation I can't give you the world. And without a shadow of doubt you deserve the best. Consequently, I love you so much that I am willing to let you go so you can find another man that will give you the financial comfort you deserve' Brother, I'm 90 percent certain that she won't go. You see something I've noticed about women is that they know or can sense a man that will succeed; this is especially true for good women. Once a man is hardworking and struggling to succeed, a woman that loves him and has good home training will hardly leave him, she might struggle with frustration but she will be there. And as for you brother, keep going forward |
[quote author=immortalcrown post=133501210]YES Let me use a road journey for the illustration. True love is not just the car, it is a new car with good shock absorbes. Fake love is a very faulty car. Financial status is the road condition. Poverty means a very bad road with potholes. Wealth means a standard tarred d road. If the road is bad about the car is new, you will feel gallops but will manage to get to your destination. If the road is good and the car is new, the journey will be very smooth and you will get to your destination. The bad car has a very high tendency to stop you halfway when the road is bad. And as long as the car is bad, the journey will never be smooth even if the road is good. True love survives without money because they love didn't start because of money and doesn't position itself to depend on money. [quote]In my years of reading, nairaland, I cam say that your comment is probably top 3 comments I've read on here. There's so much wisdom in your words. This is why I come to nairaland, to learn and listen to great people talk. I doff my hat to you. Please keep submitting more opinions, I'll be keeping an eye on your views |
casualobserver:Mate you are totally right. My pay slip used to come with either a dark blue or purple colour headed paper. I don't know why Nigerians are characteristically wicked and malicious. A typical Nigerian will know that this path leads to making money but will refuse to show, as a matter of fact he'll dissuade you from that path. But this is not the same for other countries |
If you want to hide something from a black man put it in a book' unknown Proverb. There's no country in the world that charges a 100% tax rate on their employees earnings. So stop capping and ask yourself questions. The poster is one of those who love putting out false information so that others don't come into the country. Have you asked yourself how is it that with the alleged tax rate citizens from various countries are still working hard to get into the UK. Sometimes I hate coming to nairaland. Objectivist04:Fair enough. If you are on ground then I'll defer to your judgement |
Objectivist04:With all due respect. Otti should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Mbah |
Omo we should move a motion for only Gov Mbah to do 3 terms. After he's done with Enugu, Enugu wahould be developed up to Abuja's standard in terms of infrastructure. Like if you don't live in Enugu you won't understand the joy I'm feeling. If you come out of your house and go into town, you'll see construction going up. Different roads are being built. Street cams are being mounted at various traffic lights. The other day I saw a police car mounted with a cam. Make money so you go come Enugu partner with the govt |
gabmanuel:My brother/sister thanks for this truth, I've a friend at parkland too who has never complained of being owed. There will always be idiots who derive joy from lies and spreading misinformation. I'm sure that liar is a full grown boy without handwork |
ify2016:Guy I no like wetin you talk here, Abeg you for wait make I marry one before u reveal this secret ![]() |
'National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu has issued a stern warning to Lakurawa, a new Islamic sect operating in the North-West region, cautioning them to desist from acts of terrorism or face dire consequences, News360 Nigeria reports.' Is this a joke or something. How can the number 1 in our security apparatus be pleading/warning terrorists not to be terrorists. You don't warn, you uproot them from God's planet! |

Flangelo12:I read the article you posted and it was from 2008. I read another article from few years ago where he says he doesn't have 30 billion in his account. However, all articles this year state that he does have the reported 10b. And those articles quote Forbes as the one that brought that data. The next thing I did was to look for Forbes but to get such information you have to be a registered Forbes member, my sub has expired and I'm not about to pay money to find out if a rich man is a richer man than I think. On this note, I end my foray into this discussion. Make I go make money! Nice exchanging viewpoints with you. I wish this forum could be a bit more civil as we have been |
Jamiubond009:Guy lool. Abeg take am easy small unfunny joke d guy Wan crack, you Don use 2 by 2 nack am. But this is what should be done to tribal bigots who derail the thread. Well done |
Flangelo12:By the looks of it I might have an intelligent conversation with you. For you were civil in your reply though with a sprinkle of jab. If you have proof that he doesn't earn that amount, please post. After all we are here to learn |
Flangelo12:Oga rest.
|
Apcshyte:I swear my brother! I don't know what is wrong with some people. Just imagine the fool's excuse. Perhaps if his baby is killed, then he will come here and say 'guys don't worry I forgive the murderer because he had mental illness' |
Brownemeka:I never call people names on the internet but this takes the biscuit. Are your brain cells complete or what? So because he was released the same day means that the murder of the poor, defenceless baby should go unpunished? Did you read where they said the child died 6 months later or are you purposely dumb! To those excusing this crime on the ground that it might be mental illness, please give your head a big wobble. Mental illness or not he must be caught and then he can explain himself in court and if found guilty be jailed. I can assure you that man will be killed by his fellow inmates. Because even amongst criminals there are 2 things that criminals don't like: a pedophile and a baby killer |
I was going to not respond to this article but just read the comments but then after reading like three pages I decided to respond. Yesterday I checked the amount I have played on bets in the past 30 days and it showed I had staked about 23,000. I then checked how much I had made and it showed 84,000. Now if I had used 2.3m, I'd have made 8.4m. I have lost 18k, 9k, 15k and similar amounts in single bets. I have also gained 200k plus in a single day, 80k, 90k and various amounts from betting. You see to succeed at betting, you have to be disciplined because the odds are already staked(pun intended) against you. I have principles I adhere to whenever I play and they help me limit my losses. Betting is a good way to make money. In my life, I've not seen anything in Nigeria that can legally turn a poor man into a millionaire within 90 minutes than betting. If you can't be disciplined, if you can't stake only what you can afford to lose leave betting. If you don't have a winning/positive/cautious mindset leave betting. If you're not willing to research before you play game, leave betting. For betting is 80% research and 20% luck. If you think about, in any given match an event must happen or not happen and your goal as a punter is to find the so called event. |
Up above you can see the pedophiles, sleazy, irresponsible nitwits claiming what about students harassing lecturers. This is one of the best laws ever in the history of Nigeria if passed. If you don't like this bill, imagine if your sister, wife or daughter or even mother was being harassed by these excuses called men how would you feel? Will blood not flow? If you feel attacked by this bill, you need deliverance and hell na sure bet for you |
Morbeta11:He put Enugu in the hands of God 😭😄 |
mrvitalis:This is funny but sad even my neighbor who's from imo dey talk the same thing, that the present imo gov sponsors the violence. That Mbah na better gov |
People have and we're sleeping on Mbah during the elections campaign. When I knew the man was the real deal was when I discovered his astute utterances during the campaign. For crying out loud he was the only candidate in the state that you could access his manifesto online. When he spoke about issues, he offered plausible and reasonable solutions. When he got elected one of the first things he did which was good was to bring out and show the full force of security on Mondays. This helped kill the sit at home. He then proceeded to lock up shops who failed to come out on Mondays, even Roban stores independence layout was locked up at some time for not coming out till they received sense and started opening up. During the height of End Sars the former gov blocked the road leading to d govt house and Inec office thereby causing untold hardship on people. The first day after resumption of office, Mbah removed those barriers. Omo there's no one in Enugu that you will ask that will say he's not doing very well. If this man ever becomes President of Nigeria, Nigeria we become what we hope for. This is the man that not only igbos but the whole Nigeria should be looking at to become president but not in 2027 make we people of Enugu enjoy am finish before una collect am |
