Mcleo007: But you agree Ter is way better right? Honestly, we have only watched him in UCL with fewer games and he conceded one or 2 cheeky goals but my thing is I can't differentiate who is better right now... Maybe you are right about him...But b4 the season began, I thought he was our no 1 but when he got injured prior to the start of the season, Bravo was chosen and has since shown to be promising where he made a record for no of games without conceding a goal... So I don't know who is better right now... Pique's form didn't start until late last year I think...
Don't get me wrong oh, I don't disagree with you, only waiting to see what the future says... |

mcdreeezy: This Ter Stegen guy go wicked oh, he reminds me of Manuel Neuer. When Oscar scored Brazil's only goal in that match btw Brazil and Germany, Neuer was angry. For my mind I was like, "but guy why u dey vex na, ur already winning by seven goals, u still dey vex say brazil score just one" That's the kinda goalie Stegen would be. Perhaps we should reward him with some minutes in la liga for saving that penalty, abi how u see am? Completely agree with you Sir... The guy dey show chest ni sha... |

Mcleo007: So much for being the champion of the overtly weak EPL!
Highpoints of the game IMO; 1. Ter Stegen is a better goal keeper to C.Bravo. The latter is more of an upgrade to J. Pinto while the former can be likened to M.Near with his defining attributes of a con contemporary goalie.
2. The defence is now truly dependable, thanks to pique's great form since the start of the season.
3. It is with games like this that you understand why S. Busquets is the best holding midfielder in the world. He's the 'pivote', a pivot central midfielder. Masche dwells so long on the ball, whereas Busquets quick thinking and effective ball distribution is a leading light sorely missed.
4. Iniesta remains the undoubted don. His ball retention ability is unrivaled.
5. I. Rakitic had a subpar performance. Apart from the goal, he wasn't convincing at all.
6. Neymar Jnr's poor form is now a thing of concern. I'm glad he wasn't substituted (that would have killed his confidence ahead of the coming fixtures). The game could have easily ended as 6-0 had he done needful.
7. Suarez is very crucial to this team. He can only get better.
8. Messi?
9. City and other EPL teams should play in the Europa league. They'd fare better competing in the lower cadre of European football competition. |

elampiro: Angel Di Maria is determined to be a success at Manchester United and has started lifting weights in a bid to improve his resolve. The winger has struggled with some of the physical aspects of the English game since his record switch from Real Madrid last summer. But the 27-year-old has now embarked on a special gym programme which he hopes will increase his strength without losing any of his mobility and speed. Di Maria, who is nicknamed 'noodle' in Argentina because of his skinny frame, is working in close consultation with United's team of fitness specialists to pump iron twice a week at the club's Carrington training complex. United implemented similar arrangements for goalkeeper David de Gea and most recently Adnan Januzaj. James Wilson has also been told to hit the gym.
