But then I remembered Aang was incapable of killing anyone (Air bender code of honour). If the Lion Turtle hadn't provided an alternate means of ending the phoenix king's terror, would Aang have killed him? I'll place my bet on No.

Aang can't kill him because of the way the air benders taught him and he is still weak with all the avatar power he has, bt all his past life want him to kill Ozai.

Korra is a legend, we get that from the title. "Avatar, the Legend of Korra". She is doing lots of thing during her time as the avatar.
Aang did two things during his time as avatar. He ran away when was 12 and hide for 100yrs, we get from the title "Avatar, the Last Air bender", and he stopped fire lord Ozi, fire lord Ozi is a less powerful bender than fire lord Sozin which is why Aang was able to stop him easily.

Aang stopped Ozai bcus of the power the lion turtle gave him, ozai is powerful. Go back and re-watch the movie again.

But he was a scared little boy who allowed the fire nation wipe out his own people! The fire nation is not the only ones to blame for the imbalance in world, Aang is also responsible and Korra has been cleaning up his mess up.

Aang defeated the fire Lord, but it is Korra restoring balance.

is nt Aang's fault its roku. Roku saw the war coming bt because of friendship he did nt stop it.
Aang inherited roku's problem, if Aang did nt run away sozin would have killed him with his people.
korra did nt clean up Aang's mess, armon and unilac are korra's prob and she is the worst avatar in the history of avatar. She use her avatar's power for play, she cant get into the spirit world easily, i just hate here.
i blame for for every thing, she let unilac seperated her from the white spirit, make her to start the avatar cycle again after all wht the past avatar has kept going 4 years.

Lol... Unalac was human when he fused with Vatu, same as Korra is with Rava.... So if Korra didn't kill him Unalac would still be there.... But he isn't, "she gave him peace" is just a fancy way of saying she killed him... He's dead, Korra ended him along with Vatu, you know this.... It's just left for you to Acknowledge it....

If it was Aang fighting Vatu I guarantee you he would vanquish Vatu and still save Unalac, that's just how he rolls
