I wrote the 2016 WAEC exams and I credited all my subjects except Maths [I don't necessarily need it cos I want to study English and Literary studies].

But to my chagrin,my Literature-in-English result displayed OUTSTANDING. Please when will my result be released?

I initially thought it meant I did excellent since Literature is my best subject and i'm kinda genius in it.

Please reply with helpful answers,when usually are these OUTSTANDING stuff released?

My computer randomly (at least seemingly) froze a couple days ago. I had to manually restart my computer with the power button. After I restarted it, my computer would not get past the opening windows screen. It would usually just freeze and after a couple more trys, I was greeted with an error message that says:

Windows has has encountered a problem communicating with a device connected to your computer.

This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while the device is in use, or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM drive that is failing. Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer.

If you continue to receive this error message, contact the hardware manufacturer.

Info: An unexpected I/O error has occurrred.

I then shut down my computer and made sure that everything was connected (HDD, CD Drive, etc.) was connected properly. However, nothing I have tried so far including startup repair has worked. I've searched around forums for a while now with no results.

Any help or suggestions?

OGA, with the series of problem you're having currently, your laptop is telling you that it's time you bought a new one from me but you've refused to listen

What caused your laptop to freeze is different from what's hindering the booting process. There are files present in your system that windows consult before a successful boot up, I'm afraid that during those times you were using power button to shut your system, those bootup files were corrupted hence your system can't boot up.
First boot into BIOS and run a diagnostic test on your hard drive to be sure it's ok (it might have caused the freezing) and then try booting into safe mode, if successful then do a system restore to a previous date. If not successful, use your windows CD and do a system repair proper. This should fix the corrupted bootup files. Lemme know how it goes

They sent my complaint to stanbic and if it's not resolved in a week then I should mail them again.
Even stanbic that always reply me with that auto response, mailed me to give them till 12th August to resolve it.

All laptop brands have models that have really long battery life.
So it all depends on the particular model you're buying. But those ones with battery from 8hrs-20hrs are usually costly

Have you mailed them and notified CBN & waited the two weeks for them to reply? because after their robotic reply with an inflated spending record presented by their staff who doesn't even know my name when replying me. I presented all the evidence to CBN yesterday evening showing all our correspondence and they replied today. After a week if nothing comes forth then its class suit. GTBank matter of after all I'm not using the account anymore so they can leave it in the negative has taught me a big lesson never to make such mistake again.

I'm with you on the one week wait. let's see how it goes. Even CBN mailed me today
