On Wednesday, April 4, 2012, Rosabon Financial Services Limited started its 2 day Free Entrepreneurship Training Program at the Sentinel Place, Maryland, Lagos. The training which was targeted at young business owners between the ages of 18 and 35 with enterprises that have been running for at least 18 months is part of Rosabon’s Corporate Social Responsibility to its stakeholders and Community.

According to the Chief Operating Officer of Rosabon Financial Services Limited, Mr Chukwuma Ochonogor, “Rosabon Financial Services Limited is one of the foremost Financial Intermediary and Equipment Leasing Companies in Nigeria. We have been in business for close to 20 years. As you know, our business is all about supporting people and businesses. We give out facilities / financial support in the form of loans, leases, LPO financing, invoice discounting, contract finance, etc. In the course of running our business over the years, interfacing with entrepreneurs, a lot of which we have refused to do businesses with because they did not pass our screening, we noticed a trend. A lot of businesses in Nigeria today are not properly structured and this in its own way hinders them from growing and accessing funds. The 2 day training comprised of 4 modules; Business Plan / Proposal Writing, Business Networking Skills, Marketing Strategies and New Media and Getting Finance for your Business. Facilitators were picked from professionals who have hands on experience in the modules which they handled.

In a recent development, the Treasury Department of Rosabon Financial Services Limited (Nigeria’s foremost Financial Intermediary and Equipment leasing company) launched a new product called Rosabon Promissory Notes.
A Promissory Note is an acknowledgement of debt with a written and unconditional promise to repay the debt in a specified manner as at when due.
