fortunateme:If Nigeria is an evil entity, majority of its people are evil as well. When you follow through the main thread, you will see them mocking the SE. They didn't ask why there is no federal presence there to lift these people from poverty, so they can be like them and the northerners. Once they mention they want to leave, you will see them shivering, some to death. This is unbelievable. I have not seen a group of people who take maximum pleasure in seeing that their fellow humans suffer, marginalised and cheated. This is the height of evil, you can see anywhere. The people from SW have more hatred for the SE people than any tribe on earth. |
Even when the poverty Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT) in Nigeria was piloted, no state in SE was used, but states in the north and SW were used for the pilot. This is absurd. It is either this stats is made for people to catch crus or make fun. Or that the same FG is deliberately wicked. it is literally abnormal that a region alleged to be the poorest based on the FG data would not receive assistance compared to those who are not. ![]() |
Why Nigeria is an evil entity. Op please this thread should not be deleted but debated. Assuming this statistics is true, then why is it that all the FG policies to reduced poverty favours the north and the SW? Why not support the zone that has the highest poverty rate? Why toll the federal bridge built in the region? There is no federal toll on any project in the any other region in Nigeria. Would the bridge be tolled if it was in the north or SW? For the upcoming tolls on federal roads, the SE has more roads to be tolled even when it is a 'dot' in the nation. I don't see why people want the people of this region to be patriotic. Any nation that deliberately continues to suppress part of its people is evil and should not stand. 🇳🇬MULTIDIMENSIONALLY POOR PEOPLE PER SQUARE MILE 2021 BY ZONE 1 🟢South East: 970 people 2 🟤South South: 597 3 🟣South West: 537 4 🔴North West: 528 5 🟠North Central: 226 6 ⚫North East: 183 Southern Nigeria: 629 Northern Nigeria: 300 Nigeria: 367 #StatiSense (NMPI & NPC) |
MSGAMBLE9:So solvency is written over Abeokuta against the insolvency of Owerri....as below? Pic 1 Abeokuta Pic 2 Owerri. Sir, I think you need to travel for once. Your IGR is worthless, if its use is only to get loan and share to your politicians, and not for development as you can see.
|
MSGAMBLE9:The question a sensible person would ask is what you do with your giant IGR. Nothing. I can tell you for free. No SW state is better than any state in SE, except Lagos. You can take that to the bank...and also you need to travel. The Chinese are all over Osun mining...it doesn't mean Osun state is anywhere near the development in China. Your yeye de truly smell. |
MSGAMBLE9:When you take your propaganda too far...literally, away from reality you become a joke. Abiriba a village in SE is far better than a big city like Ogbomosho in your SW. The internet has really dealt a blow to your Lagos-Ibadan media scam over the years. You people painted the picture that SE region is a waste land. |
bestpunterever:I have tried to minimise my comments on political election matters... It is not about people who voted for him. Check the places he won massively. The APC governors played their trick and you know it. He didn't win Lagos where some people believed he did well. He didn't win Osun his state of Origin. He didn't win FCT the nation's capital. He didn't sweep Kano and Rivers state. 90% of his aides didn't win their states or polling units. His party chairman lost his state. Etc, etc... So who voted for him? This is the reason there is no joy anywhere after the result was announced. I believe you were shocked that he won because there is no reason why the party would win the election with all the negative impacts it created in the past 8 tears. It's like re-enforcing failure. But it is what it is. Only God can help Nigeria now, as the people, the masses are helpless. The politicians, the elites will put their likes in power to sustain the status quo, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Or so it seems. |
Excellent road networks, wide roads, ring roads which are properly maintained should be done by the state governments first, in addition to other needful basic amenities. People go to where there are opportunities.
|
Already private individuals have done a lot in housing development to rent. More need to be done in providing office spaces to accommodate investors. Not much has been done in these regards. State government really need to step up on providing de-risk gaps to attract investors.

Eastern Nigeria economy is being revitalised. The eastern government should intensified effort in these areas...gas, oil and coal. The region should be a beehive of economic rejuvenation to make people return to the region. Also the HQ of these companies should be in the region. The government should as a matter if urgency provide road and other infrastructure that will attract FDI, cc Anambrafirstson.

mmanuel Addeh in Abuja Despite its net-zero carbon emissions pledge by 2060, the federal government has signalled the return of coal mining in the country, with the putting up for sale of five coal blocks in Enugu. In an invitation for expressions of interest for the public bidding of five coal blocks, the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) stated that the coal fields were currently being held by the Nigerian Coal Corporation (NCC) on behalf of the federal government. The BPE therefore called for a public bid of the five blocks by prospective investors, listing them as the Amasiodo coal block, Onyeama Coal Block, Okpara Coal Biock, Inyi Coal Block and the AgwasiAzagba Coal Block. Almost defunct before now, the NCC was established in 1950 and it is 100 per cent owned by the federal government. The headquarters is located in Enugu. But the new development appears to contradict Nigeria’s pledge for cleaner sources of fuel. In November 2021, at the COP26 Leaders’ Summit, President Muhammadu Buhari in Glasgow, Scotland, pledged that Nigeria would cut its emissions to net zero by 2060. He argued that greater effort should be channelled towards assisting developing nations to meet their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) commitments through the pledges made by the developed countries to provide at least $100 billion yearly. ‘‘I do not think anyone in Nigeria needs persuading of the need for urgent action on the environment. Desertification in the North, floods in the centre, pollution and erosion on the coast are enough evidence. ‘‘For Nigeria, climate change is not about the perils of tomorrow but what is happening today. Nigeria is committed to net zero by 2060,’’ the president said, although Nigeria still remains a severely energy-poor nation. But the BPE in the document advertising the fields for sale, recalled that the federal government had the exclusive rights to mine coal in Nigeria until 1999, when it established a policy and legislation that deregulated mineral exploration and exploitation. This, it said, opened the sector to private industry participation and resulted in entering into joint ventures on an equity participation basis. It added that the federal government is currently divesting from all of its operating interests in the sector. https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/04/11/nigeria-returns-to-coal-exploration-despite-2060-carbon-emissions-pledge/

I don't think there is any women in Nigeria dead or alive that has received international medal like Chimamanda. Many Ivy league universities are falling over themselves to give her an award.
|
BluntTheApostle:But she has received the highest award in Havard uni. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie receives highest honour of Harvard University, W.E.B Du Bois Medal

Ariaria market Aba is being reposition for this international trade

I support the Igbos to invest more at home. people will come there to buy their goods. In Aba people come all the way from Malabo, and other central Africa countries to buy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Oxx5bKqvPs |
The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, on Monday, warned the Nigerian government led by President Muhammadu Buhari and top security chiefs to stop pushing Ndigbo to the wall. The group, however, condemned in totality the arrest of Eze Ndigbo in Ajao, Lagos, His Royal Majesty, Chief Frederick Nwajagu, by the Department of State Service, DSS, as a result of alleged incitement. The leadership of MASSOB, who made this known in a statement signed by the National Director Of Information, MASSOB, Comrade Edeson Samuel and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital, demanded the immediate release of Chief Frederick Nwajagu by DSS. The group, however, alleged that the Buhari-led administration did not hide their perceived hatred for Ndigbo since he took over power in 2015 and blamed the government for failing to arrest thugs suspected to be working for Bola Tinubu, who allegedly masterminded all the attacks, killings, burning and destroying of properties, goods and shops belonging to Ndigbo in Lagos. MASSOB said Nwajagu committed no offence to warrant arrest by the DSS, and blamed security agencies for failure to arrest Oba of Lagos, who threatened to throw Igbos into the lagoon if they failed to vote the All Progressives Congress, APC, during the just concluded general election. “In this year’s general election, MC Oluomo, a Yoruba man threatened to kill Igbos if they failed to vote for APC, which he later carried out in broad daylight, the same security agents that arrested Chief Fredrick did not arrest Oluomo and his gang of sponsored ‘criminals’, it said. “Many Yoruba indigenes are living in igbo land, many own properties as landlords, many are doing their legitimate businesses and none of them has ever been attacked. Why must Ndigbo be attacked unprovoked, is it a crime that Ndigbo voted their choice?” The group further warned Yoruba to desist from pushing Ndigbo to the wall and called on Igbo living in Lagos and other states of the federation to come home and invest in Igbo land. “Igbo business men and traders should return to their root and get established in Igbo lands because their future in Nigeria state is being threatened by the people they have supported many times to be president of the entity called Nigeria”, the group stated. https://dailypost.ng/2023/04/10/massob-condemns-attacks-on-igbo-in-lagos-demands-immediate-release-of-eze-ndigbo-by-dss/ |
Gabriel004:Igbo running after their men? Are you joking right now? The wish of every Yoruba man is to have Igbo wife... I can name more than 20 influential Yoruba men marrying Igbo ladies, but can hardly find Igbo men marrying Yoruba women, other than P-square ,Peter Okoye. You should never marry them if you hate their tribe, no matter how they cry and beg you, lol. See how you are rolling everywhere ... because they begged you. lol.

Creamcrest:Am I the author of the video? You mean to say the Ooni should shut up? I thought you hypocrites don't wake your elders with a kick. |
I have never seen a group of people who hate the other group but marry their women more than any other tribe in Nigeria. Why marry someone you hate their tribe. This is height of madn888. I love Europeans who have their countries based on Language. The reason they have less friction. ..and once the Igbos try to leave to form their own country, this set of people are the first to reject it. Mean while...Igbo business trying to move elsewhere... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Oxx5bKqvPs |
Raskimonojendor:You don't seem to get it. That's how they generate wealth. There is dignity in labour. Most of these guys will get a land in Lekki-Epe in no distant time if they remain in Lagos. It is obviously better than mining sk. |
