Those in authority should observe how events unfold in the coming years. They will eventually lose control over the masses, and a revolution will commence. Even the police and military will align themselves with the people – such is my observation.

Family / Re: Parents With Sickle Cell Kids How Do You Cope? by Coronavirus1: 1:47am On Dec 01, 2023
Biology says that after sexual intercourse, about 200 to 300 million sperms are deposited by the man, they all begin to swim upwards within the track to meet with the ovum, out of the 200 million that are deposited only 300 to 500 actually reach the site (others get tired on the way because is not an easy race) and of the 300 that manage to reach the ovum (egg), only one fertilised the egg and in this case the winning one is YOU.
Have you ever thought about this? You ran a race without your eyes and your legs you WON, you ran a race without your education and you WON, you ran without certificate and you WON, you ran without help and you WON, what makes you think you will Lose now?
Now that you have both eyes and legs, now that you have the knowledge of God's word, now that you have plans, visions and dreams, beloved you didn't give up on day one, so you can't give up now, giving up now is an insult to your creator.
It doesn't matter what you see now, take it as a challenge and always remember that you WON from womb.
You will win this your present battle in Jesus' name, Amen

fxexperts:
Your Foolishness knows no bound. So because Obaseki is fighting an ancient kingship that surpasses his entire ancestors so that makes him best in your eyes abi. you must be a huge joke i swear. I pray Adeleke divide that your ooni throne. and let makinde dispose of that your alaafin throne. bunch of jokers.

Let them divide it all they want, the ancient Benin kingdom remains the ancient Benin Kingdom and that includes all Yoruba lands, and that kingdom is bigger than any Obas or any government. know this and know peace.
Before the raign of oba in Benin
Know this and know peace if you don't know history
The original people and founders of the Benin Kingdom, the Edo people, were initially ruled by the Ogiso (Kings of the Sky) who called their land Igodomigodo. The first Ogiso (Ogiso Igodo), wielded much influence and gained popularity as a good ruler. He died after a long reign and was succeeded by Ere, his eldest son.
Did you see Oba there oba belong to the youroba people ogieso is for the Edo people .Obaseki doing more good the history of the oba will continue

I am from Edo State and its worrisome that we have the worst roads in the country. Benin to Abuja used to be 5 to 6 hours now it is about a 10 to 12 hour trip. Obaseki should spend his time working on Benin-Ekpoma-Auchi road, Benin-Sobe-Uzebba road and Sabo-iruekpen road. This rough play with the Oba he should remember the binis don't joke with their Oba.
The land grabber oba how many scorlaship the oba has given to edo people with all his billions instead he married two sisters as archivement.

Now this is a man that intends to bite off more than he can chew, and the unfortunate thing there is that there is no one he listens to! Obaseki should better remember the story of boda Bode Thomas and let sleeping dogs lie! grin
If the kingdom is share among all the senatorial districts the the oba power will be limited to grabbing only the land in his domain imagine oba is having power more than state government in land issues let his power be reduced today there is peace in kano let it be divided so there will be peace in Benin Obaseki is the best governor ever to rule Edo state and have the authority to contain the access of the oba who is also founder of Lagos he can go there and become oba in Lagos
Politics / Re: Who Founded Lagos: Yoruba Or Binis? Oba Of Benin’s Claim Stirs Controversy, Agai by Coronavirus1: 2:33pm On Nov 28, 2023
Ashipa, the founder of the Lagos royal dynasty but uncrowned as Oba of Lagos,[2] whom all Obas of Lagos trace their lineage to,[3] was an Awori Chieftain from Isheri. Ashipa was rewarded with title of Oloriogun (war chief) after returning the body of one Asheru, a Benin war captain to Benin[4][5] and received the Oba of Benin's sanction to govern Lagos.[6] Some Benin accounts of history have the Ashipa as son or grandson of the Oba of Benin.[7] According to the Lagos traditional account however, Ashípa (Yoruba: Aṣípa) was a local native, an Awori Yoruba chieftain of Isheri.

Car Talk / Re: Have You Ever Ran Out Of Gas While Driving? by Coronavirus1: 5:18pm On Nov 15, 2023
Ndipe:
Ok, it has never happened to me, before, but I have come very close to running out of gas. Once, while driving home I realized that I was running low on gas. It was in the evening and the nearest gas station, was miles away. I kept praying that I would make it to the gas station, and miraculously, I arrived at the gas station and filled my tank.

Earlier on when I lived in Nigeria, as a kid, my father's chauffeur was taking us back to Calabar, after spending the weekend in the village. Guess what? He ran out of gas on the highway, much to the anger of my father. He rushed to the gas station and came back with a container filled with petrol. I just brushed off the incident.

At another time, while going for a job interview that did not materialize, I had a flat tire. While I was pacing up and down the side of the freeway, trying to place a call to my insurance company /9-11 for assistance, another fellow pulled right behind me and told me that he had ran out of gas. His story was typical, finances played a major role, so in exchange for changing my tires, I offered him a ride to the gas station. Still, on my way to school again, I witnessed a scene where a man was filling his tank with gas, just off the freeway.

I inquired from my coworkers about their experience and two told me that they had in the past. Worse of it all is when you are flying. How can one be so sure that the plane they are flying in has a tank full of gas? Ethel Kennedy (widow of Robert Kennedy) lost her parents in a plane crash, because the plane had ran out of gas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethel_Skakel_Kennedy)

So your experiences please? How about those living in the USA? What would be your reaction if someone ran out gas here? Would you lay blame on them for failing to take advantage of the plethora of gas stations, in close promixity to one another in the spirit of capitalism, or would you chalk it up to the frailties of humans?
It has occurred to me several times I told my self let me reach the next filling station before buying before you know the engine off what next I pick a gallon and buy 5 litter before buying more.
