we are actually victims of ikeja electric too. Two persons came this morning.

I Paid for 3 prepaid meters for close to 3 months now and I have called customer care unit about 20 times, they keep telling me this week , next week. All because I refuse to bribe with 10k each I was disconnected going to 3 weeks because I complain.

I reported the lines men who come around every week to collect bribe for outstanding requesting you pay everything or bribe them, even if you want to pay part. So I reported them to the customer Care unit. And I have proves. I was disconnected by Naimat Omobolanle Olowu because I complain

Because I reported them,The marketer Naimat Omobolanle Olowu of Abule-Taylor undertaking came to my house & disconnected all the 5flats and she was even telling us that you can talk abi. Ikeja Electric lack integrity.

In fact my own outstanding is 62,000 she disconnected me as well, we have been in darkness now going to 3 weeks after paying for prepaid meter for 3months now. We have a lot of house owning Millions in that area, they were not disconnected. But Naimat Omobolanle Olowu of Abule-Taylor undertaking, Akowonjo. In fact Ikeja Electric lack integrity.

I also have in record, I was ask to bribe with 10k each for my meter to be fast track, because I refuse Ikeja Electric is delaying my Prepaid meters intentionally.
There is a man in my area that paid a week after i paid, but bribe with 10k each on each meter, he has been metered

Infact, Fred Odogbo, Naimat Omobolanle Olowu of Abule-Taylor undertaking , Akowonjo and Ikeja Electric are wicked and mean. This means that Ikeja Electric supports their staff to collect bribe. Why is everything about Ikeja Electric is Bribe. Bribe is part of their ethics

Honestly, Nigeria is just not working. Someone will come with coverall uniform and demand for re-connection fee else, he disconnects your light. And the fuel pump price increase is not helping matters.

Ikejac Electric is worst because they support their staffs in this useless Act.

In this exclusive encounter with Asabe Afrika TV, early in the week, COMRADE ADEOLA SAMUEL ILORI, National Coordinator, ALL ELECTRICITY CONSUMER PROTECTION FORUM, a consumer advocacy group in the Nigerian power sector spoke on the recent September 1st, 2020 obnoxious increment of electricity bill for Nigerians across board after the Nigerian Electricity Regulation Commission (NERC) have earlier denied such plan.

The increment was quite on the high side as many Nigerians who are still smarting from the Covid 19 pandemic post-lock-down economic experience saw the situation as a kill-and-go decision by the democratic government of Nigeria.

The AECPF Scribe reacted to official misbehavior of some electricity staffers in Lagos and urged the Nigerian Police to take the case of Illegal Disconnection very serious.

The petition of one Ms. Naimat Omobolanle Olowu and Fred Odogbo who works with Ikeja Electric, Abule Taylor Undertaking office under Akowonjo business unit who went and illegally disconnected a building after paying for pre-paid meters (about three months ago) was brought to his notice. The disconnection was done because a man who reside in of one the flat called Ikeja Electric customer care unit to report how their staffs in Abule Taylor Undertaking office do collect illegal money from them.

The AECPF Scribe said the Nigerian Police Force must not look down on the possibility of prosecuting erring officials.
