I would advice that you don't invest in such enticing deals. Mathematically, it would mean that you'd make $13,000 in a year from your $1000 - 1300%. Does it really make sense to you? Even Franklin Templeton, Dan Zanger or Timothy Sykes would not promise you 13% in a year.

A forex Manager promise 50% profit weekly on account of $1000 deposit and his commission also will be 50% of profits made. Pls how sound is this to professionals in the house? I need your advice.

Make sure you have information about his or her trade history either demo or live account, check his or her drawdown and weekly or monthly target, check his risk appetite, ensure he has a SOUND TRADING STRATEGY and finally his Repeatability Coefficient. If these parameters are sound and convincing, then you go ahead and make sure you learn his trading strategy as he or she trades.
Remember, Forex is not a quick money making machine. Trade it like you do other business.
The main problem of many traders is GREED. You invested for instance $5,000. and you trade 2.0 lot size, and you want to make $1000 within two days, thats greed for a newbie trader, but for the professionals like us its possible. You can target 10% profit in a month as a newbie, and grow your profit percentage. Some of us even make 25% on weekly basis sometimes. The DISCIPLINE to maintain it regularly is also very important as a trader.
Meanwhile, i will advice every Fore trader to develop a sound trading strategy before you trade live account.
Even if you trade with ordinary FRESH RSI 70%(overbought) you sell and 30%(oversold) you buy and take profit of 50pips, rrr=1;1 and trade with 0.10 lot size for a $1000 for instance, you will hit 10% profit on monthly basis.
Make sure your trading strategy is working very well on your demo account before you bring it to live account.

relax my friend I've been there be4 to d point of ? if i tell u d real amount i ve lost ( i don't totally blow account but 80/90% of it will just vanished) when i did compounding of dis small small capital over two years hmm hmmm story for another day

Nobody is infallible in fx especially when u are being chased by d demon of greed/emotion then u are likely to still blow 40 more accounts. d first step to be successful at fx is conquer dis two & then look for a gud system or strategy developed by u & then apply gud mm. ur

risk to reward should never be less dan 1:1.

choose a trader u want to be either swing or day trader. personally I'm nt gud at swing trading cos my impatient will kill d trade in premature breakeven, stop loss half way or few profits.

since i conquered those two demons in me, i now allow my trades run to 1:1/1:3 without fear cos i risk from 1.5 -5% . i have also learn to reduce my trades
next i am working on is to focus on trading two pairs alone. not all pairs worth trading.

1stly, dnt trade many currency pairs. No one wl eva mak al d mony in fx. Focus lik APC on 1 or 2 pairs.
2ndly, let al trades com 2 u, its business. Always wait 4 confirmation season b4 investing. Dnt leav ur favourite pair(s) because ther is no signal at d moment, keep follown it tl ur strategy signal shows up.
3rdly, ur trade strategy must b sound nd d truth is price action is d best. I despised it for yrs nd am not proud of it.
4thly, mony management, it includz lot size, tp nd sl. Use dem apriopriatly. If u tak a trad nd u r shakn, ur lot size may b 2 high.

ADVICE; MUST MUST MUST MUST...
1. When you come to forex trading, trade with good MONEY MANAGEMENT, DON'T ALLOW YOUR MARGIN LEVEL TO COME BELLOW 300%.

2. Trade with stoploss(SL) and take profit(TP).

3. Trade today to trade tomorrow. Don't enter market as if market will end today, market is always here and will be here till DECEMBER 2015.

1ST ACCOUNT BLOWN ($250): GREED

2ND ACCOUNT BLOWN ($300): POOR INTERNET, USED CYBER CAFE, NO PERSONAL LAPTOP, REVENGE ON THE MARKET

Here I am today after 3 years, I started demo again, reading from gurus, and working on my emotion and psych for 3 year untill i found a balance that I opened a new account with XM.

Yes, I am doing fine now with all the past lesson serving as traffic light in my present trading career.

MY SUGGESTION FOR YOU BRO

Go back to DEMO with a minimum amount of $200 open balance for trading
Do not go back to real account untill u are able to crush the RED DEVILS on the demo
