since November Last year, my car battery was stolen.. i got another battery two days after.. but i decided to be removing the battery every day... till was able to park in my compound. but still the stress driving into the compound is much.. (gate passage.. tire screeching nd struggling to drive in ) we started hiring securities.. which is a good news but later they asked for better offer.. not money but a place to stay for them nd then they can go home twice a week. but the old landlords in the hood are too stubborn they disagree.. where as they are not the one paying or finding the solutions its us.. the guys' resigned nd they were highly skilled.. with better juju.. nd now the new recruits.. don't have juju.. they are arrogant and abusing the tenants nd people around.

this part will make you laugh my next door flat is a make up artist.. and needs to attend to work early as 6am, nd she woke up.. to get on her business as early as 5:30 am.. she had an apprentice very quiet girl, na so this new recruit olode approached her with flash light.. SHOUTED AT HER.. if you move.. then when oga saw what was happening.. Oga near them nd tell them shes her staff we are going out for event oo.. na so olode asked her to go and call her landlord out first before anything.. heheheh.. WAHALA... she said landlord is over 99 years nd cant wake him up that time.. them no gree oo.. but uber is waiting outside already.. when the oga moved this untrained olode started saying ashawo.. who go mary person like you for house etc.. heheh.. OGA didnt say anything ooo.. when she returned around 5pm.. she called other tenants nd informed us.. wow.. nd already we behave like family in the compound.. we now say we will go meet the olode by 9pm to talk to them.. na so one of them talk say which kain yeye money una dey pay us self.. come nd see slap punch fight .. only 6 tenants from a house ooo out of 40 houses on the street hahaha..... them bow oo.. but next day them come calm respect themselves..

Our boys whom we sent to the universities to study are now living in hotels doing "Yahoo", defrauding people.

They are not studying. They are "sorting". Bribing lecturers to pass.

They only come to campus in convoys once in a while to show off. Guess what?

Some lecturers are even worshipping them.

Our teenage sons are now driving Benz Cars in the university. They are now "happening guys" on campus.

The houses our sons in universities are living in now are flats and duplexes as against the self-contained that we used to know.

Well furnished and so beautiful like the home of some state governors.

Our sons are all married in the university but single at home.

Girls swarm around them... living with them, cooking for them, doing all sorts of things with them and for them.....

These girls are our daughters whom we sent to the universities to study.

They are in every club and hotel in town....they are found in front of exotic cars, fastening seatbelts, taking selfies, recording short videos and moving their tongues and lips like DOGS.

My recent research in Nigerian universities opened my eyes to this current ugly reality. I wept for the future.

These are teenagers, not even adults.

We still see them as children who know nothing.

I don't want to mention names of hotels in IBADAN, LAGOS, IJEBU-ODE, ABEOKUTA, AKURE, EKITI STATE, etc where you will see your sons and daughters. They have been living there for weeks if not months.

They are not going to school. "Who school help?" Don't you get it?

These teenagers— boys and girls are abusing drugs. Not just hemp (igbo) but cocaine, tramadols and other terrible ones.

I had once boarded a vehicle with a young girl in AGO-IWOYE who had some crack (cocaine) in her purse.

For a reason l did not know, the police officer that stopped us for a search didn't search her but searched every other passenger.

On the way, she brought out a drug, gently sniffed some and threw out the remaining through the window.

I also used to be fond of fasting when I was still a christian. There was a time I heard people used to hear God's voice so I said to myself. Lemme hear this voice too. So I embarked on a fasting.

I fasted for 6 months straight, at the beginning of every month, I'd go on 7days dry fasting, the rest of the 2weeks plus would be 10-10, then I'd end with 7days dry fasting again. And I did that for good 6months on a roll with every day vigil and intensive prayers every now and then, here and there. With maximum consciousness with repect to "righteousness" . I didn't even have the strength to "sin". As they call it.

I fasted till I started coughing up blood.

See there is nothing you can tell me about this christianity that I don't know. I was a more serious christian than many of your pastors.

I've been meaning to write this for some time but keep procrastinating. But something happened recently that made me decide to write this today, I'll keep it short and straight to the point.

A friend of mine met this slim, tall, pretty girl and they've been getting along real good. But the girl is always very active in church, and I mean very active. She goes to church almost every day. After work, it's straight to the church whether there's service or not she must find an excuse to go.

Omo, it was a big red flag for me but I didn't say anything to my guy even though he's complaining about it to me. She practically neglect her own life. This church has like 4 services and she attends all 4 and still hang around afterwards, and also follow the pastor and his family back to their house to help with chores.

She entered one chance vehicle one night after her pastor kept her busy in the church until almost midnight and she got robbed of everything and flung out of the speeding car. She treated the injuries for over two months and she stayed without a phone until my guy eventually bought her a phone. Not a dime from the pastor

They'll be together and immediately she receives a call from pastor she gets up like a robot and leaves no matter what. Her excuse is that she's a worker in the church so she can't abandon her role (are you the only worker in that church??)

On her WhatsApp status, it's always pastor pastor pastor grin grin, never has she posted her guy's face on her status cheesy

She's always broke, not even a dime in her name and I'm pretty sure where all her salary is going... Church. She'll collect money from my guy to fulfill her pledge in church and goes back to being broke. It was so bad, I can keep going on and on.

Recently my guy jokingly told her about marriage and guess what she said, that he would follow her to her pastor, he's the one who will tell her if she should go ahead with the marriage or not. Omo e off me angry

She said because she doesn't want to make a mistake and marry wrong person and most people are in wrong marriage because they didn't consult their spiritual fathers blah blah blah

I laughed at my guy and told him point blank to dump her as$$ because even if pastor managed to approve, they'll give him conditions and still force him to join the church and the pastor will have a say in every aspect of the marriage. Her father is alive and she doesn't mention him at all, it's only pastor that makes all the decisions. It's a big turn off.

I've made up my mind that I'll scrutinize any girl I want to marry very well and see if she has this bad trait in her before I proceed.
