Give them a call tomorrow, they ll tell youif a decision has been made or not , if not they ll send a message to them over there to take a look, not all applicants are called. Hope for the best

I was called today. I applied as self-employed thy asked what is my role in my company,what is the name of my company how much I received,when am I traveling,how much is the hotel I booked cost.where and where am I to visit,how many days I intend to stay in the UK

My biometrics was submitted 7th April , whenever I escalate my case, the next day I get this and I instantly do as requested by sending a mail requesting for them to call me but the thing is they never call me. I don’t know what else to do about this. I called their customer service they said they are not incharge of such calls. Has anyone had any issues relating to this, please advice.

Asking for someone: Has anyone experienced getting refusal email and one week later passport not returned for collection. The refusal says he wasn’t able to provide some information over the phone interview done, just that reason alone. So one week and no passport collection notification and tracking still says at Decision center

Sorry bro, I thought it would be easier for you considering you already got one previously, anyway you can correct the reason for refusal and reapply immediately

My application still haven’t been decided, I am the guy that was refused because of covid as all places was closed then. So I reapplied, April 7th biometrics was done, up till today no words. I called today and was told no decision made yet, the customer service lady escalated it. Applied from Victoria island.

What was the reason for refusal, if you don’t mind post it let the gurus advice you.

Since you used an agent to apply, I believe he did not use your email for the application, just walk up to TLS VI and pick your passport up. Did you received the transfer email from tls previously when you applied ? Also did you receive the acknowledgment email from Uk, either way just go to VI and pick your passport, let us know the outcome.

Hi everyone

Just want to say thank you for all the help on this platform.

I got my visa in 3 days. I paid for priority last week Thursday and collected my passport today. I've been denied Visa to France (Lol) before. I got 2 years Visa . I was sponsored by my dad (as a birthday present) even though I currently work and have over 10,000 GBP in my salary savings account.

What I did was to attach my proof of employment,pay slip, salary statement, ID card and then my father wrote a letter of financial support which I got notarized.

I also explained that I would like to travel now since uk is gradually easing off restrictions and that I would quarantine for 5 days with the test to release option.

Is it Lagos ? I think you should call UKVI to know what is going on with your application

This should be your hotel booking or contact you want to stay with.

I have experienced this, what I did was create another profile and make another payment which was successful immediately, then I called Uk contact from their platform and cancelled the former, it took 2 days after they requested my account, I got the dollar from world pay as the sender. Good luck

I paid for my friend’s visa application 124,615
The account started showing payment pending
I made the payment through PAGA
I contacted PAGA the next day and they said it takes about 7-9 working days to get a confirmation from UKVI
We needed to make that payment ASAP
My friend had to open another account and the payment was made through BARTERWAVE
In less than a minute she got a confirmation mail
I kept messaging PAGA and they kept telling me they were in touch with their partners in order to get details of the transaction
PAGA mailed me 10 days later with a receipt that the transaction has been successfully made
I was asked to contact UKVI for more clarification
I tried searching online for their contact
I didn’t see anything
I went to TLS in Lagos, they said they are not in charge
It’s been 3 weeks now
The page is still stuck on payment pending
I’m yet to be refunded my money
I’m frustrated and I don’t know what to do
Pls help pls

My application was made before the lock down, I have now written both complaints emails. Got an automated message to wait for 20 working days, Atleast this refusal is better than waiting endlessly with no response. I ll keep the house posted if any progress. Otherwise I will reapply later after the lockdown. Thanks to everyone

Just apply when all of this is over or probably if you are going to see a friend or a family member. The refusal u got is straight forward, since the purpose of ur trip is touristing, and the places are closed, there is no reason to grant u visa for THIS reason u mentioned.
I am sure at your next application and hopefully COVID is over, then u will be approved

They said tourist centers not opened, I honestly do not have anyone to invite me, maybe I ll just apply later when they open.

Hi! , been a ghost member for a while, had to voice out today cos my SA visa got denied on friday, I met my South African gf while we were in Dubai, she got pregnant along the line but she’s back in SA now and and I’m back in Nigeria too cos I lost my job in Dubai due to covid but I’m planning to join my gf in SA so i can support her and be there for her. As my first visa application is denied due to the fact that the hotel reservation is unverifiable please I need help and guidance on how to apply again for the visa so I can be there for her when she give birth.
P.s : I don’t have access to the document I used for the first application anymore.

Today made mine 22 working days, so I sent a mail regarding the delays and got this response after I was told it has been escalated

SA embassy is very sluggish this period, my brother is planning to request his passport back after 2 months of awaiting processing

Mine is now 18 days and nothing from them yet.

Congrats!, 17th is Sunday, Guess you meant 18th, I submitted same day as you at the VI Centre, nothing yet from ukvi nor Tls, also there app no longer tracks. When did you receive email to pick up from TLS?

In my salary account statement, I carefully asterisked my salary as they came in each month to align with the payslip of each month. In my self-introduction letter, I also explained the source of all inflows into my personal account.

I have been a silent reader of this thread, always looking at people's experiences (for both approved and refused application), so I learnt quite a lot from here. Thank you so much to all of you for sharing with us.

Above all, I believe God's mercy and favour came into play....it all ended in praise!!!

There is a general problem with the app used for tracking, November 18 is a long long time ago, I think you should visit their office for Collection to see if it’s already there or call ukvi or send a mail

Download the Tls contact app on your phone, open it and Input your details, Surname and passport number. It’s that simple. Good luck

My younger brother applied for a tourist visa since November 8 and up till now no words from them, whenever he tracks it says the same it’s saying to you “application is being accessed at the high commission” his travel date is passed. Do let me know if it turns out your passport is at vfs when you check

Hi nairalanders. I am a first time traveler (or a would be first time traveler). I applied for a tourist S.A visa at VFS, Lagos on the 3rd of december. The trip was scheduled for the 20th of december till 26th, so its passed already. Also, everyone that I know that applied on the same day has gotten his/hers whether approved or rejected.
Each time i track my application on vfs site it shows ‘application is been processed and at the commission’. It’s over a month now and a friend of mine suggested that i should go to vfs (maybe it is there, i don’t know) as all calls have proved abortive.
I am worried and doubtful it will be in my favour considering the time taken. At least, if it will be rejected, why take so long since the time has even passed ? How can I get my passport back asap, what step can i take? I need to use the passport for another visa application.
