Aren't you scared of electricity outage affecting your system, assuming of course you don't have 24/7 electricity

The spec I set out for was

CPU:INTEL CORE I5 4440 3.2Ghz quadcore locked multiplier
GPU:AMD RADEON 280X 3GB
RAM: (2X2)4GB DDR3 1600MHZ
BOARD:GIGABYTE Z87I

But I did some shuffling eventually after gathering more info and due to price change on some components

1) I changed the processor to 4670k because it has an unlocked multiplayer which makes it easy to overclock....I presently have it at 4Ghz and it can do more athough in actual fact there is no need for over clocking since its plenty fast at it nominal speed. I also got it cheaper because my friend abroad olives in a place very close to a microcenter outlet(cheapest CPU prices)

2) Changed the GPU to Geforce GTX 760 mainly because the radeon's price increased by around $150 (crytocurreny miners fault) because I have a soft spot for nvidia the only reason I considered And was because at its former price the prioce-performance ratio was the best.

3)I bought (2x4)8GB of RAM because games were getting hungrier for RAM and the board I settled for has only 2 slots; so no future upgrade path except throwing away my RAM sticks and buying another set

4) board:Asrock Z87N with wireless ac( faster wireless) and a msata slot on the board for future SSD upgrade

I also bought a casing the cooler master 130 ITX, other things I reused from my former system : harddisks, DVD writer, seasonic 700watts power supply unit monitor...ps3 pad.......

The monitor is 23inch 1920x1080p its a cool monitor I was passing by this tokunbo computer people one day and saw it SEXY,LARGE, BEAUTIFUL calling unto me so I asked how much and the seller said 12k so I bought it on the spot, I didn't plan it but, I knew it was worth much more.........

Depends on how it's packed

So that means you can't have an accurate estimate with the item dimensions as you can't predict how large the box the sellers will ship it in

I have a question, what values do you guys use for the volumetric weight calculation? what is usually given is item dimensions and they don't account for the dimensions of the box. So do you guys measure the box of the item? Because depending on the size of the box it could mean the difference between $5 and $50 shipping amount.

Ok cool, so do they put it all in a bigger box and weigh everything together. I'm planning on buying computer parts and want to save shipping volume weight cost by having them weighed together.

If I buy 4 separate items and they arrive at separate times, will they be consolidated and sent over as one package? Plus what is the minimum lbs you charge for packages?

Mine is big. U can fit two psus in there and three gpus if you so please. The white man complains if his temps go a degree higher than normal so don't take their words seriously. Get in some cooling fans and u're good. Only problem I have is how ventilated the new ones r compared to the old.

Also when buying a case, the psu included shud not be used for gaming. Unless it's asus etc... Otherwise you'll burn your system.

I could only find regular size casing in computer village (gigabyte gz-ma03 3 in 1) but I did a see a bigger one gigabyte too but it was pricey 25k.

It's all about the gpu, the Asus rog gl551jw ds74 has a 960m gpu which is better than the lenovo 860m. Check notebookcheck.net and use that to compare laptop gpus and how well they perform on recent games. it's an excellent site

Is the case really that much wahala to you? My case is an old acer coreduo case and it does the job well. I know u worry about entilation but seriously my cpu and gpu temperature hover around 39 degrees and 59 degree respectively. Or u want beauty? Is it worth the hasle?

Well i plan on buying a GPU in the range or AMD R9 280 or 290 and core i5, which should bring the expected watts to 600w when gaming next gen games and high temperatures.Will an old acer coreduo case have a psu that can handle that and is there room to fit a psu that can plus is there enough room for the gpu and board, if so won't it be too hot and cramped. Bear in mind oyinbo people complain of high temps using similar specs in their cold climate when gaming with expensive cases designed to reduce heat.

I want to build a gaming PC, do you guys know where I can buy a gaming PC case. I am willing to ship other parts from Amazon but case will be too expensive to ship.

That's the part that baffles me a lot with the rate swift data keeps finishing. Without free midnight browsing, I was having good data rollover, now with free midnight browsing, data doesn’t last 2 weeks. Am considering spectranet at the moment.

I thought it was just me. I just noticed that I wasn't getting any rollover again then it became a case of not even completing one month. It's getting fustrating

I stumbled on this thread while shamelessly looking for where to market my 3D game app for mtn competition (http://nexva.com/31769) . Now back to the topic, I feel the major issue with 3d game development isn't about nepa,poor internet and hunger(although they do matter significantly!!). It's the fact that it's not marketable in this country, coupled with the fact that it is convoluted and frustrating. The thing about Nigeria is that the population is so high that even if a small percentage are geniuses, that will still be a high amount. Now tell these guys, there's money in game dev and you'll see wonders in 3 months.

Damn,i never knew psp could get bricked so easily,it was'nt as if i was updating or something.it's almost as if d psp bricked itself.hp it does'nt happen again cos i dont hv a pandora batt,shud be coming 2 ib soon maybe i'll give u a call.

My psp froze while i was playing a game on my mem stick,so i removed d batt and d mem stick.it worked fine after dat until i put it off n tried it d next day,the green light blinks for a few secs n goes off.d screen remains blank.i hv tried it 4 a wk now n gt d same result.need help.
